Great bats. No, the best bats. They fly well, unlike bats I've seen before that don't fly well. These are really good bats.

So cool to see the 1.5 million bats emerge from under the bridge at dusk. I recommend standing under the bridge rather than on it. Then you are looking up at the still-light sky for contrast, rather than looking against the dark river. They come out on only one side, so follow the crowd. We waited a long time, didn’t come out till 8:45, almost dark!

Curious and interesting moment we spent on that bridge waiting for the bats to show up! almost 90 min for less than 10 min of "glory"... i recommend, not everyday you can see thousands of those animals flying around you

Get here an hour before sunset and be on the east side of the bridge. There is a walkway under the bridge toward the east. A bit over rated....

It was an interesting experience being on the bridge with 1.5 million tiny bats flying below me. The bats themselves are very small. I was expecting these giant bats with 4 ft wingspans, but these bats had a wingspan of maybe 6 inches. On the day we went, the sun set at around 8:47pm and the bats started flying a few minutes after.
