An oversized room masquerading and sold to me as a "Suite". Traveling with a wife and teenage daughter -- they need their privacy. Room was good for what it was. More of a nice roadside type of Motel than a real Hotel.

Thank you for staying with us, and thank you for taking the time to review your experience! We are sorry to hear that your suite was disappointing. We encourage our guests with specific needs to explore our website and images of rooms or to speak with a desk agent in advance of booking, in order to feel most comfortable with their selections. And, when possible, we are more than happy to adjust your room upon arrival! Thank you for your feedback, and we hope to see you again soon!

Our rooms have consistently been comfortable and large with 2 queen beds, a desk and a small table and chairs. The included hot breakfasts are very good featuring eggs, sausage, bacon plus hot and cold cereal. Adjacent to the lovely Lithia Park and downtown that is sprinkled with restaurants and great shops. The theaters are few more steps away. Friendly staff and towns people.

Wonderful front desk staff (I apologize if I have the name wrong-I think James?). Delicious breakfast with a lot of great choices(pancakes, oatmeal, quiche, plus more). Great coffee. Great service immediately when we had a hiccup with cable tv. I can't praise this hotel enough. We didn't need it and it wasn't summer, but I was impressed they had a lift for a disabled person to get into the pool. So quiet. Amazing, they had the tv remote inside a bag-impressive, as we always hear the remote in a hotel room is very germy. Absolutely we will stay here for sure next time in Ashland!

We have been coming to the Bards Inn for a number of years. We enjoy the convenience and the breakfasts. My husband walks very slowly and with a cane. This allows us to enjoy Ashland restaurants and the theaters without driving in traffic.

Room Tip: The room has easy access to nearby restaurants and shops.

Have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed. Love the location and the hotel. Although it is not a Best Western Plus any longer, it is still one of our favorite places to stay. We usually stay in the King Spa room .

Room Tip: King Spa Room. All rooms are really good.
