Flamm is a heavenly escapade in all the hustle and bustle of Bodrum. I havent stayed there but all the rooms especially the ones just a few steps from the sea are great. Very friendly atmosphere with a really caring and welcoming staff. The sea is great with options of sunbeds by the sea or under palm trees. All day long you can hear chill out music which makes Flamm peaceful. When you are in Bodrum you can visit daily for swimmming or at night for dinner on the decks. The menu is great too:)

TL;DR version of my review: The management, the staff, the rooms and, obviously, the location was perfect during our stay by the end of May 2016. Just book it if you are considering staying there.

Now the long version:

We were there for our wedding, with approximately 190 guests, who were mostly young. We stayed there for 4 nights, some of our friends and family for 2-3 nights.

The location of Flamm is just perfect. It is literally by the sea, with a nice sand beach and a spacy pier. It takes only a minute to reach those from any room.

The setting of the rooms were really nice and they were always clean. The staff were always helpful and friendly, which makes a huge difference when it comes to a wedding organisation.

The food was just excellent. Not only during the wedding, but during our whole stay everybody kept saying that it tastes really good.

I have seen a couple of reviews stating that the prices are high. I do not agree with that. You would get about the same prices if you were to eat in a high-scale restaurant.

They have a separate bar right next to the beach, where they serve specialty cocktails and throw happy-hour parties. The resident DJ is truly good at his job. He kept us all dancing before and after the wedding.

If you are considering having a wedding there you should know this; the staff and the management can make a huge difference when the event organizers are not around. We have had serious issues at the very last minute with the event organizers and the management & the staff of Flamm just helped us all the way to the end of the wedding.

We've had a really hard time going back to our hometown when our trip ended. But we are definitely going back to Flamm this summer.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The decor is lovely and it is by the sea. The rooms were a bit disappointing because 1) there was too much light; 2) the sheet is basically so small that good luck trying to share it with someone and 3) no cleaning unless you ask for it. It was also hard to communiquate as no one speaks english but since the staff is really nice , it did not bother me so much. The guy at the reception was very accomodating and immediately agreed to a late check out for no fee. The owner of the hotel, who I got to meet was also extremely nice and accomodating. Regardless of a few flaws I would go back again.

The best part is the rooms are just 20m away from the sea, and it has a private sundeck. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is also a beach club and the lunch menu is really nice but the dinner makes the difference. You can have dinner by the sea and everything we had was delicious! We even had grilled lobster on special request. The staff is very polite and helpful. The only thing is the wi-fi was slow and got disconnected time to time.

Room Tip: Suite rooms, right on the sea

We stayed here for a week. Our expectations were a little high (considering the amount we paid).

The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is always helpfull and polite. The quality of the food is just ok, average cafe food.

But the prices, oh the prices... It is extremely expensive. They expect you to pay 10TL for water (even if you are a guest in the hotel)

This place is trying to rip you off with every chance it has. Personally I don't find it luxorius to pay ridiculous amounts for even basic items.

Only positive thing was the staff. They were always polite and friendly.

Still if you want to stay at this place, keep in mind that there are a few small convenience stores 50m away, selling water and other beverages 10-20 times cheaper.

As a summary, you are looking for a mercedes. But you pay for a ferrari. And you get a renault...
