Novotel may be far from the airport, around 3 hours to reach considering the terrible traffic in Manila but relief will set in once you’re in the hotel. It is located in the heart of Cubao’s commercial district with malls all around and the Araneta Coliseum beside it. There’s no problem looking for a place to eat or shop.
What struck me most is the considerate staff especially the managers. I was initially booked in a de luxe room which was spacious and comfortable with a good view of the commercial district from my window. Plumbing maintenance was to be done in my room the next day so the managers transferred me to an Executive Suite room with no additional cost. The suite room was fit for a queen— large room with separate living room and bedroom, 2 toilets, 2 lavatories and a bathtub. I also got to eat cocktails with a friend at the top floor for free.

I just stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks for business. In addition to it being a great hotel with all the necessary amenities, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Everyone from Alan the concierge who greeted me and assisted me several times to the catering staff and 24 floor lounge staff, they all addressed my by name and seemed to really enjoy their work. Ms. Michee, Ms. May and Ms. Carmela were particularly fabulous in assisting our team make our event seemless. This is the perfect hotel to host an event or just relax and enjoy the pool or spa!

if you want to book a hotel in quezon city, include this place in your list. novotel has this coziness, comfort, class and warmth that can only be found in well maintained establishments with well trained staff.

food is superb in their food exchange buffet restaurant at the ground floor. parking is adequate. wifi is stable and fast.

bathroom amenities are quite limited, though. but don't fret. you can still request for a needed tube of lotion, a shower cap and a sewing kit for free.

best feature of novotel is its location. it's literally adjacent to araneta coliseum and just 20 meters away from gateway mall. it's right across shopwise and SM department store. another 50 meters is ali mall, the very first mall in the Philippines.
