Compared to the last time I was here ( Feb 2018), the service of the front desk has improved a lot. They are more approachable and friendlier..( the front desk people last Feb 2018 were not friendly at all and sometimes were snooty. Good they were changed! )...housekeeping were very helpful....the only drawback here is the breakfast..it's now at Shakeys so you have to cross the street...but that's no problem because you can just go down the mall to buy almost everything you like...as to the price, Summit Magnolia is very reasonable...and yes, parking is free!

Pros: convenient location connected to the mall, friendly staff, breakfast convenient but just ok for quality and selection, cost of stay

Cons: small roach seen in room, sewer smell, difficult to shower because of varying water pressure and temperature (from cold to very hot), room ambience not great

Shoutout to the staff at the front desk who helped me process our booking. Went out of her way to call Expedia herself. Very efficient & accommodating! Our favorite hotel every time my dad is in town. There are tons of restaurants to eat since it’s conveniently located inside(!) a mall. We just don’t book it with breakfast, we eat elsewhere around the mall.
