I booked at Fersal Malakas during my birthday last June 20, actually it was my 5th time already (short staycation). Although this hotel is a little bit old but you can never go wrong with their rate per night, its cheap complete with good shower, refrigerator and kettle for coffee/tea. I almost forgot their rate is inclusive of Breakfast and they serve very good Pinoy Breakfast (i recommend their danggit😉) This hotel is safe especially for solo traveler like me😆👌🏼

Fersal in Malakas Street is a boutique hotel so I wasn't really expecting anything that I could rave about. It was a pleasant surprise to find that their food was pretty decent - not fancy, but filling and more than just tasty. I love their tuna sandwich, breaded chops, local noodles, etc. Around the hotel are dozens of restos you can just walk up to if you prefer other cuisines.
The rooms are small and cleanliness can still be improved. The location is great if you are staying in Quezon City - it's near enough the major government buildings, the Quezon City Circle, SM North, but far enough to be really not in the midst of the hustle.
At the moment, the road in front of the building is being paved so we needed to walk a bit to approach the hotel in a round about way. But it will be probably done in a few days so no worries.
Staff were nice and helpful.

The room had unpleasant and musty smell,old, and unsecured.They charged you for early check in and bad location. We paid for our three nights stay but when we saw the bad room situation, in just few minutes my husband and I decided to leave. They never refund any single centavo of what we paid. So, my advise to all travelers be aware of booking hotel online.Dont be easily convince with their promos Much better to book in a known hotel and popular.at least you know what to expect.
