With the influx of various food parks in the Metro, Vikings steps in to bring it to a new level. The Alley is a buffet by Viking's utilizing the concept of a food park. Unlike other food parks The Alley is housed in UP Town Center fully air conditioned and away from the smoky and busy streets of the city. Walking inside the Alley is a well designed food park, where food stalls offering different dishes as suggested by their Signage. Other than the food stalls they also have, like in the regular streets of Manila, street vendors such as sorbetero, fishball, taho, and if you dine here at night a balut vendor. Service here is excellent. If you want a different buffet experience The Alley will not disappoint you.

A different kind of buffet. It feels like your in a food park (food alley) and you have your choice of food from different countries. A lot to choose from. Food is 4/5 which is very good quality for a buffet. Long lines for oysters and you need to wait 30 minutes per batch. Staff was friendly and accommodating since we were with our 6 month old son. A little on the expensive side. Go here if you're celebrating your birthday. You get to eat free promo. Better than the regular Viking's buffet.

I loved that they have oysters, not a lot of buffets serve them. The servers are very nice, too. They have beer and cocktails for those who want alcohol with their meals. Good selection of food, I just wished they have lechon, every Filipino feast should have a lechon! When we went there, almost all the tables had birthday celebrants. The price is not so bad, too. We will definitely come back.

Of all the Viking’s branches we have been to, this is the least recommendable. We had to wait long for our ordered tempura and steak to be served. Actually, we were already eating our dessert and they arrived. Concept of having small stores serving different dishes supposed to be something new, but turned out chaotic. Line at Japanese food super long. Space to move around was very tight. By the way, it seemed like the cook at the Chinese counter was delaying the serving of the roasted duck on purpose. In addition, half the staff need to learn to at least smile a bit to make the long wait less ‘bitter’.
