Simple, clean and affordable rate for travellers, and right in middlee of many restaurants, pubs, huge shopping center and place for massage.

The only interesting thing was, they store the drinking water in fridge, which I didn't know until they day I checked out...

Buffet breakfast only 400 peso, or order from the menu for less then 300 peso. The cafe is also good for client meeting after 10am as it becomes quieter.

Nice city view on rooftop terrace with a tiny swimming pool. But no bar, however you can order drinks and food through room service, and get hem to bring up to rooftop.

Nice property, and good for business trip.

Amelie is perfectly situated in a bustling neighborhood in Malata. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. Shopping is plentiful and so is music. Here, you will find an eclectic mix of locals, travelers, gays, and all others.

The hotel itself is well laid out. Rooms are spacious, bed is super comfy, and very clean. The pool, though small, is on the rooftop along with the gym. There are great views of the city from there.

If you have a couple days in Manila, stay here. Especially if you are unsure of what you would like to do.

The location is convenient, close to the LRT transport system and the mega Robinsons Mall. You could probably walk to the old Spanish quarter of Intramuros and other attractions if you're up for it. The staff are courteous and helpful, and respond very quickly to requests.

The hotel though, is showing signs of its age. Our air-conditioning unit leaked, and it took a while for it to activate, which we figured out eventually. Our bathroom smelt a bit like dried urine, but as mentioned, staff was very quick to come and clean it after we requested them to do so.

Noise however, is the major letdown. A live band plays on Friday and Saturday nights till the early hours, and contrary to what reception told us, also on the Thursday we were there. We asked to change rooms, which reception told us they will look into, but then never got back to us.

Internet connectivity was poor, and only allowed a maximum of 3 devices to connect to it at any one time - a bit of a restriction for a room that could accommodate up to 2 people. Also, you were forced to continuously log in to access it.

Great location, but noise was a serious drawback.

Room Tip: Rooms away from Bocobo street are quieter.

All the pubs and nightclubs around this place is a 10 or 15 min walk. There is a massive shopping centre next to this hotel.Food is alright but its bit too expensive. So many street food shops and dine in places around the shopping centre.

Good location to eatery. We stayed at 7th floor and they gave us a room right at the corner end. therefore it is quiet and peaceful but the walls not sound proof which I can hear my neighbor conversation.
