We were on the 34th floor and the view overlooking the terrace was I guess what the hotel is selling. A glimpse of the view would tell us, yes this is Manila.

The food on the menu for either breakfast or lunch are not available so we settled for just sandwiches. Shuttle service was kind of expensive, not to mention the need for cash instead of the shuttle service being settled thru credit card (in this day and age where people use credit cards than run to the nearest money changer to pay for shuttle is disappointing).

Our sleep was awakened by the smell coming from the sewage system under the sink, but the hotel immediately took care of it quick. Thanks to housekeeping department.

The room was small with a king size bed leaving very little room for moving around.

We were charged P200.00 for the dirty towel we used as a shower mat on the floor because of the water splattered when you shower having no door to close. I wonder why they don't provide mats to prevent this, then charge you that amount for a very small towel. The hotel should pay attention to details to avoid this.

Overall I would say the staffs are friendly, but a very hot lobby is not welcoming particularly if you've travelled a long way and tired. I wonder how the front office personnel could handle the heat wearing all those long-sleeved uniforms?

The coffee was good but I wouldn't advise sipping hot coffee in a very warm coffee shop. The street is pretty much filled with these young prostitutes particularly in the wee hours of the night making me think that oh if I go out, I might be mistaken a part of the rest of the brood .

Robinsons Mall though has become a welcome respite and I enjoyed the Japanese food in one of the restaurants.

Overall I might visit this hotel again and looking forward that these insights would help to improve the service. It had been a worthy experience though.

Dear Ms. Olive

Thank you for staying with us!

We ae very saddened to hear that you did not have a pleasant stay during your visit.
The whole team would like to apologize for the inconvenience.

Please be informed that we had a meeting with the housekeeping ang maintenance department to route the issue re the foul smell in your room. Cleaning of the grease trap in all rooms are now on going. Your concern re the charging of towel was also brought to their attention.Rest assured that this will not happen again.

The Management is on the process of discussion on the possibilty of dismantling of kitchen partition in some rooms to create more space to our dear guests, In fact, We are excited to announce that our 8 executive rooms at the highest floor of the building, 49th floor, are tastefully design and more spacious compare to the other rooms and soon will be open for reservation. We would like to inform you as well, that our 24th floor rooms doesnt have a kitchen partition which made the room a lot bigger. For your next booking madam, you may email me directly and please note a special request of room without partition.

Re the shuttle, we are planning to have own shuttle service to our guests, the shuttle service that you used is a private service and is not part of the hotel.

Again, We would like to apologize for the inconvenience, but we are very thankful for spending some of your time to give us review. Comments from guest is the most valuable gift as we get to know our strength and weakness which allow us to improve and give the most geniune service we can offer to our guest.

We are hoping to be at your service on your next visit.

Arrived at 1600hours after a long trip from Puerto Galera. Got our welcome drinks and my room got upgraded to full bay view one bedroom suite (Level 34) by Grace at reception who was very welcoming. Christ at the Café was very helpful and courteous. Rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was quite clean. Laundry can be done for 150PHP. Location is very close to Robinsons Mall. Just walk out of the hotel, turn right and cross the road. There is a nice selection of bars and an ATM, just a few blocks away when you turn left outside of the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay and for shopping. One negative comment is that the A/C in the bedroom was noisy and also the lack of a good restaurant owned by the hotel which only serves club sandwiches and muffins.

Room Tip: Higher floors with full bay view and city view.

Nicely situated a very short walk away from Robinson Mall where you can find almost everything. Very suitable for travellers that like staying on high floors since the accommodation are 24 storeys and above. Service staff are friendly and response time to request are prompt. Although not the newest but overall still comfortable and highly recommended especially for the affordable cost.

Hotel location is great, next to Robinsons Mall, near Intramorous and other tourist locations. I booked this hotel due to good reviews. Staff are friendly as said in other reviews though no one warned of how slow the service was here! Particularly when it came to breakfast - 20 minutes for a first morning coffee is not acceptable and breakfast meant a choice of a tuna sandwich or a croissant. On 1 morning, at 9am there was no croissant left and you get a choice of a tuna sandwich. When asked why the cafe attendant asked me to choose what to have when there was a choice of 1, he didn't understand or pretended not to understand. You also get a choice of a hot coffee. Asking to change to an ice coffee meant I had to pay full price for the ice coffee! The receptionist checking me in on the first night did not give me breakfast vouchers either so the cafe attended proceeded to find me on my floor the next morning asking for payment.

The room though had a kitchenette had no utensils or items to use other than 2 cups & 2 spoons. Pretty useless for a kitchenette. The room was small and when 2 luggage was on the floor, there was hardly any room to walk in the kitchen. There is not enough room in the bedroom for anything. The bathroom was even tinier.

Should add as well that even though previous reviewers indicated they received a welcome drink when checking in, I did not get one having flown in from Australia.

All in all, friendly, courteous staff was the highlight but I would have loved more for professional, efficient staff with enough amenities instead.

Great location, walking distance to the famous Robinson shopping mall. Although the suites no new but is well maintain. The receptionist and the bellboy are very friendly and helpful. Once arrived, there is a welcome drink for us.
The room is clean and tidy. Just a little bit too strong smell of the air refresher. Bed is comfortable with a little bit sound come from the wood below every time go on bed.
One thing need to be highlight is the hotel management really read through all our remarks written during reservation. They fulfill all our requirement. Impressive!!
The receptionist give us a morning call and help us to call for taxi so that we would over slept and miss our flight. Thumbs up!! Good job!!
