Bring lot's of money to be able to buy good stuffs at a cheap price! Bring a friend to have ahelp in carrying what you'll be buying. Don't bring that much gadgets or expensive cellphone as there are some people trying to steal.

If you cannot find it here , you never gone find it.
This is the flea markt you need to visit , you can do good deals , your money go a long way.
Its sometimes very crowded, do not go there during Christmas season.
Don't bring your car there , just take public transportation.

Its really fun shopping at 168 mall
especially if you go solo and not in a hurry. You can find lots of things here, in fact, everything! Just look around first to compare prices since many stall sell the same items and for sure you can get the best bargain. You will be surprised if you will be buying in wholesale (at least 3 or 6 pcs) because prices are slashed into half, at times more than half! Airconditioning is acceptable though there are spots that are hotter. Food court has varied choices and is always full. Best to go on weekdays as weekend shopping is not inviting especially nearing the Christmas season. In summary, it is leisurely fun shopping in 168 because there are always new products that you will discover, at times, you will buy it not because you need it outright but because you were amazed and it is relatively cheap. Of course, China products are the unanimous brands!

168 is in the Tutaban Mall / Divisoria area of Manila, but better represents a filthy squalor of a place with everyone fighting to offload what is mostly cheap junk on unsuspecting tourists.
How to say much of anything good?
Prices are not all that special given how long the trip takes to get here.
But there is variety, but is a cheap show compared to the big small item shopping districts of Taipei, Taiwan, etc.
What to go here for?
Maybe a lovely wedding dress for your wife-to-be with decent variety and styles, but otherwise, do your research online for the best shopping venues in the country, and go there instead.
As for getting there, it's a horror show. From Cavite, for instance, it takes 1.5 hours and by kilometres it's not a long trip. The biggest traffic holdup is through Binondo and then on to 168 along choked full narrow filthy streets that is only fit for cockroaches and diseased dogs. In the modern 1900s and 2000s,that human beings live and work here is sickening.
Skip it unless you have something specific in mind, and then be prepared to struggle through the poverty and filth to get it.

It's cheaper when you go outside the mall. Although it's chaotic especially during Christmas season. Some of their security guards are rude. Expect unprofessional treatment from the sellers. If you're after quality items, this is NOT the place to go. 95% of the items they sell are made in China. Credit cards are useless there except at the Robinson's grocery.
