This is a nice hotel located in a very convenient place. The convenience store 7-11 is just cross the road. Chowking restaurant is not far either. The shuttle bus will take you to SM or Robinsons shopping mall if book advance.

We booked 5 premier double rooms last weekend. 3 of which do not have any windows and 2 rooms overlooking the pool. We checked in at 2pm and it was relatively fine, you had to deposit P1000 but they will return upon check out. 3 rooms were given to us immediately but the other 2 rooms were delayed by more than an hour.

We had a difficult time parking as there were no more space available in the parking lot. This also prevented us from leaving the hotel to have dinner elsewhere. We were afraid we won't be able to park again if we leave our spot. We ate dinner at their restaurant (the President) and the food was superb! The waiter that served us was exceptional (Vega?)! The meal was a bit pricey but it was worth it.

The rooms with no windows are a bit bigger than the ones that have. They were clean and with basic toiletries (soap, shampoo, & toothbrush), complimentary bottled water, and sachets of coffee, sugar, cream and tea. The room also included a strong wifi connection, cable TV, electric kettle, and mini-ref. The beds, although not the softest, were comfortable and we slept soundly.

A pass is needed in order to use the pool. A pool supervisor/lifeguard was present the whole time, so thumbs up for that esp. if you have kids with you.

The semi-managed buffet breakfast (included in the deal we chose) is filling but the menu was very simple and could be improved. *MGOH, please upgrade it. It has so much potential.

Check out was a bit chaotic as there were lots of visitors doing the same thing. We got our P1000 deposit but was charged P60 for leaving a towel used in the pool area (but there was a sign that you can leave used towel there) or maybe as a finder's fee bec. they returned a pair of pants we left in one of the rooms? The additional charge was not explained properly by the swamped front desk ladies and we were in a hurry to leave (we waited for about 45mins to be checked out!).

All in all, the experience was pleasant. It was a pretty good deal. The MGOH met most of the basic amenities you look for in a hotel. The staff were pleasant and courteous, facilities may be a bit dated but still functional and clean, and food is okay but can be improved. If I were to stay here again, I will specify room request (see room tip).

Room Tip: Request for a room with a view. You can also ask for a non-smoking floor and away from the street noise. Check out way earlier that 12nn.

The hotel is located next to the LRT station which was a thumbs up for us, as our purpose in manila was to go round. If you are planning to go round Makati and etc, this is quite far from it and it may be hard to find transport esp during the rush hour. But going Divisoria - this is not a bad place at all.

The location is somehow dodgy, however the hotel makes you feel safe anyway due to the guards, who were friendlier than people at the front desk. The place may be dodgy but it has the essentials you may need as they have 7/11 nearby and jollibee too. We thought their breakfast was too overpriced. Quick check in, so that's a thumbs up. Deposit is expected of Php 1000, but no problem with that. However, it would be better if the people on the front desk at least greet you with a smile.

The room was clean, which we were happy with but too much for what we paid. Towels are so old that they're so thin and you can somehow see through them too. Needs changing!
We expected a window at least for a bit of daylight, even if it was an ugly view! But we came to a curtain, and the overlooking is the wall! It made us feel very claustrophobic!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with windows!

I stayed here for a long weekend last August, They did not allow us to have a shuttle service like what they offer on the site.Im so disappointed about this :(They said they have a special guest by that time. But they shouldn't advertise a free shuttle service on the site if they could not accommodate all of the guest..
Room- was too small for a Premiere double room. TV was too small (you must always wear your glasses if you are near sighted like me,hehe). There's a weird smell in our bathroom @4th flr. And there's a noisy sound in our room upon entering, so we try to find out where does it came from.Guess what....

we didn't found it. Hahah but we saw a lot of switches beside the lamp shade and we tried to turn this all Off.. I don't think there's an exhaust fan inside the room, but its a weird noise sound..Anyway the location is very accessible using LRT1 Doroteo Jose Station.
For the mall? Only Isetann is the nearest (walking distance). You got a chance to use the Sauna hahaha but its not too hot here. (Unlike sauna on Lasema & Ace).
Pool- We got to try this at night and it closes at 10pm. I don't know if the pool is clear/clean haha because its dark and they didn't open the lights beneath the pool.

Breakfast buffet-we got here at 8am, I think its a bit late that's why the food was not so appetizing by that time. But I really love the chocolate moist cupcake and the coffee. I also love the sausage and the mushroom soup. All in all our stay was okay. But I will not go back in here hahah maybe I'll find other places to stay :)

Room Tip: Do not stay at 418. room was too small and there's no window

Staffs were awful. The breakfast buffet was awful as well. Food was stale. Pastries were like baked last month. Never will I recommend this motel to anyone. This motel is overrated and the room is dirty. We found cigarette butts all over our room.
