Quick and efficient way to get straight from airport to the centre of Kuala Lumpur. However I would also check the taxi price to your hotel. The KLIA costs 50 MR per person one way + some kind of transportation from Sentral to your hotel. When me and my friend were leaving we desided to ask how much a taxi would cost from our hotel (Concorde) to the airport. It was 100 MR so it was cheaper and we got from door to door and didnt have to drag our luggage around.

I have taken KLIA Express several times. I found it to be the most reliable way to right my hotel in the KL sentral area.

The ride takes 28 to 30 minutes as compared to a 45 to 60 minutes taxi ride.

The cost is RM55 compared to RM85 for taxi ride.

After train you still need to catch monorail or light rail or taxi, usually taxi but they can be very gross and smell badly of cigarettes.

Best way to get into Kuala Lumpur.
Not particularly modern or comfortable, but does what it says. Lot more expensive than buses though.

Not many people know that the KLIA Ekspres actually runs through Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (BTS, the major bus station for all outbound buses to other states in Malaysia) and Putrajaya. Skip the LRT and take this instead to BTS. One way journey costs RM5 (if I remember correctly) to BTS and increases accordingly to the stations you want to go to. There is a train schedule provided so you can plan your journey accordingly. This thing is blazingly fast and I love how punctual it is!
