Tennoji MIO is one of the shopping centres in the Tennoji/Abeno section of Osaka, which you can easily access via the subway and stopping at its namesake station. There are two buildings worth of boutique shops here; there’s also a Rilakkuma store here if anyone’s interested. I’m no expert on shopping, so I can’t really comment on the “quality” of shops. We initially thought shopping here would be a good option as we had read online elsewhere that the prices here were more affordable than in neighbouring shopping centres but we pretty much ended up walking away empty-handed as the fashion didn’t really appeal to our tastes. I can however, share some of my experience on the travel/accessibility aspect of the visit to Tennoji MIO. We journeyed to Tennoji via the Tanimachi Line (the royal purple-coloured one), and ended up spending a fair amount of time navigating the somewhat complicated underpass to Tennoji MIO. I felt the exits for the red-coloured Midosuji Line open much closer to Tennoji MIO, so try and take the Midosuji Line as far as possible.
