Delicious steak. We followed Monocle guide’s recommendation and were not disappointed. The tasting menu was perfect - small dishes of seared octopus, cold beef with mustard dipping leading to the main event ...perfectly cooked fillet steak. Sitting at the counter watching the chefs prepare added to the dining experience. One of the best meals I’ve had in Japan. Around $180 for 2 people - 4 course tasting with sake and beer - good value.
