We stayed there only one might up to our trip to Hangzhou but we have to recommend this hotel to every one.
The room is very with the nice view from the balcony. The restaurant only offers Chinese options and I would suggest to have breakfast outside.
Good position..only 15 min walk from the Lake...and a lot of good shops.

We enjoyed 2 nights at this hotel. good environment. The location of this hotel is very good for travellers. Lots of shopping place and subcontinental restaurants nearby. breakfast of this hotel is okay for subcontinental people. Room is heated well. Toilet is very small. Wi-fi is working in the room, but very slow. Overall, I like this hotel.

Was with a group for business. So ideally this would not be my choice of hotel. Somewhat below 4 star, the hotel needs lots of tlc. Nice sized room, comfortable bed. All Chinese tv no English channels at all. Staff speak very little English. So our guide spoke on our behalf. Bathroom ceiling was full of water damage. Meals were not nice at all. No cutlery at breakfast. Found it very difficult to explain what we wanted. So maybe a good for value hotel but not for me. Sorry

Big clean rooms with very well maintained amenities
Corner rooms on the west end have additional space
Very helpful staff
Great central location with lots of late night shops, eateries etc
Most locals don't speak English, you might need a translating app (All Google services not accessible without a VPN)

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and after 15 days in China it is in our bottom 2 hotels.
We checked in around 11pm and found the woman behind the counter to be not very welcoming...I don't think we even got a hello. We were lucky to have a guide to assist us.
We were on the 15th floor so we're hoping for a decent view-we were wrong. View of 2 buildings with a lot of rubbish around them on the ground.
The room itself was nice. Very large and a surprisingly comfy bed and pillows. Our air conditioning fan made a noise but we didn't let housekeeping know as they probably would have asked us to move and at that time of night we really couldn't be bothered.
We found room to be clean and the bathroom was mostly clean, it could use a good scrubbing in the corners and behind the facet in the shower. Ventilation fan didn't work.
We appreciated the free wifi, teas, coffee, water and bathroom vanity items.
Bed was not made throughout the day and a few dishes from previous nights teas were not washed-only small things however were provided in all other accommodation on our stay.
Very hard to find power points in convenient locations, none in the bathroom so hard to do hair without a mirror. Ended up plugging in behind to and standing in front of room mirror.
We went to put passports in safe in room before leaving for a day trip but wouldn't open. Needed to wait for our guide towels and it had run out of batteries. It took about 20 minutes for someone to figure this out meaning we we rerunning late. Understandable that this can easily happen however I would suggest checking it on the housekeeping list.
Breakfast was average. No welcome, no glasses under juices, no big plates left, table left to sit on had old plates on them, not a great selection compared to previous hotels.
We went to level 3 to look at the Chinese medicine room and there was no English menu. we also wanted room service and there was no English menu for that either.
The foreign channel had 1 English Channel that was mainly Chinese with English subtitles-again, tv not needed however HBO and CNN were in other hotels.
We felt far from west lake and shopping area-20 minute walk. And driver felt it hard to get into slip lane to get to hotel.
We wouldn't stay here again.
