The reception area was nothing to shout for but as we walked towards our room, we were impressed by how big the hotel was ... Each room has an unique suite name. Ours was a family suite with a single and queen sized bed and a separate games room. The Chinese furniture was a majestic setting but the bathroom was a big disappointment.
The shower booth was small and gaps between the doors meant a wet bathroom to be. There was no floor mat so we had to use a towel for the floor.
Other than that, the hotel is pleasant on the whole.
The Dong Jie next door sells street snacks and there are many souvenir shops nearby. Once we came back at 10.45 pm from a day trip out to Longmen Grottoes and we could still find a restaurant for our supper. So it's extremely convenient.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the third floors as there are restaurants below the hotel and might be noisy.

This is not a small guest house but a relatively large hotel. Our room was situated looking out on the alley with restaurants below that had a thriving and noisy busy til past midnight on the weekend. The halls are dark, the rooms were adequate but not particularly pleasant. Breakfast (Chinese buffet) was ok. As far as I could tell, no one spoke English which led to much confusion when we needed more toilet paper! The area is fine to walk in and it was pleasant to see families and couples enjoying the area and the evening water show nearby. I would pay a bit more to stay somewhere nicer.

The hotel is immaculately maintained and the service is impeccable. The room was wonderful, beautiful, elegant, classic and comfortable, for those who want peace and quiet. This is by far the most perfect vacation I have ever taken. Go... and you'll be so glad you did. I promise!

This place has a great location, being next to the Big Goose Pagoda Square. The square has an excellent fountain show in the evening. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is Chinese so takes a bit of getting used to. No fruit juice for e.g.
There is an office on the 3rd floor where you can make travel arrangements to the Terracotta Warriors and other attractions surrounding Xi'an.
The good location means that you can hear the music form the fountain show in the morning and evening. This being China, the volume level is somewhat higher than what a Westerner might be used to.
Only major drawback is that it is very difficult getting a taxi there, but this is a general problem in Xi'an.

A good value hotel, very close to the big goose pagoda , which turned out to be a great location , right next to the daily waterfall show.
Lots of rooms at this hotel, it's
Much bigger than it looks from the outside.
We booked our Terracotta Warriors tour with them and was very pleased with the tour
