As other visitors noticed the price vs the quality provided is very good. Yes it is expensive but the quality of the rooms, service, food is comparable. We've been 4 couples and all of us are very satisfied with what we found. This hotel in western Europe could have been price at double the price.
I would like thank in particular to the concierge team, Maxim and Mikhail and Anastasiia from reservations.

Lovely Hotel, all rooms face the city

Staff are very friendly and helpful.

I had a junior suite, which for one person is too large, but i won't complain. Room was very modern and had all comforts.
Hotel premises are very nice, with great pool area.
The Restaurant down the lobby was good. Good quality food and good staff/waiters.
The lounge area outside was also very rich in heritage.
Overall a nice hotel, and from this experience will consider staying there again.

Had a pleasant stay at this hotel with good staff and decent food options. Location was very convenient. The souvenir shop came super handy with very helpful attendants which helped shop for some good gifts.

The museum was fascinating as were all the attractions in St Petersburg . We stayed a week and have never encountered such hostility unfriendliness and rudeness as in this place. We saw a couple being shouted at for asking where to get tickets for the hermitage by the tourist information employee beside it!! I kid you not. They asked her then was the queue outside for tickets. She replied sarcastically I don't know maybe. The Basil Fawlty school of customer care. They went outside and stood stunned We had a week of this treatment. The buildings and sites are amazing but the people spoil the whole experience. Save your money and go somewhere you will be welcome!

Didn't know what to expect as this was our first visit to Russia. St. Petersburg is a stunning place to visit and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Large rooms, well lit, modern and tastefully decorated. Good sleep quality, comfortable bed, very clean, L'Occitanne products all fully replenished every day, The breakfast buffet was certainly one of the best with everything you could possibly want and the highest quality food, pastries to die for. All staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
The location of the hotel however is not in the old town so a taxi ride is necessary to visit most sights or you can go on the metro which is efficient and clean, but very deep underground as it goes under the river in places, so if you have a problem with vertigo its not for you. Also the hotel, given its name, is no where near the Hermitage Museum! However if you stay over three nights you get free entry into the museum and go in via a back door and thereby miss the queues, which certainly is worthwhile.
I would have liked to have stayed in the old town but liked this hotel so much we would definitely stay there again if we went back. Or I should say WHEN we go back, as I loved St. Petersburg, there is just so much to see and do, and dont feel we did it all.
This hotel is not cheap, so if paying extra for things such as breakfast or taxis is a problem I would not recommend it for you. You cant worry about budget if you stay here, there's no point staying here and grumbling about paying for breakfast, taxis etc. Its just how it is.
