Nice little hotel near the main street Nice little hotel near the main street
The room was small but comfortable
A rich and varied breakfast, we liked to eat there. There are two restaurants to the hotel, we liked the marios more. Recommend a kotlet in the style of Kiev
The hotel staff's treatment was the best we have ever received. the best

We were in St.petersburg with my boyfriend only one night, and it was the best place that can be for two lovers, it was so romantic. All the staff were full of hospitality, we felt us like a prince and princcess. Thank you for this experiance!

I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of Russian wine. The hotel is unique in that you enter through a passage into a central courtyard that is beautifully decorated with flowers. My room was clean and well decorated. The bathroom was very nice.
The breakfast was lovely. The staff were all very polite even when faced with annoying customers. The hotel is well positioned just off Nevsky prospect a few minutes walk from doskoevsky’s house. Overall I had an excellent stay and would not hesitate in staying here again if I am in St Petersburg.

As usefully mentioned in a history write up in the room, the hotel's name reflects not only its use as the Swiss consular building in the 1990s but also the Tsarist era architect's later nationality! So, it's a well maintained period building conveniently just off the Nevsky Prospect. The staff were universally friendly and efficient, helping us with advice on taxis and on-line bookings. The bedroom was spacious, elegant and clean. There was a good choice for breakfast and our only disappointment was to choose the Claret restaurant over the other, better appointed, restaurant. But that's a minor matter in what was, for us, a really enjoyable stay.

A hotel par excellence, located centrally with good ambience.
Well appointed rooms, friendly staff & worth it’s rating.
Would stay again when visiting.
A small suggestion. Have variety in breakfast as repetition gets boring.
