We stayed here for 4 nights and we found it very comfortable indeed. The reception staff were very friendly and helped in any way they could. In the restaurant the staff were efficient and very willing to please, despite not always speaking English. In this respect the managers were always on hand to translate. The roof top bar and restaurant was a good place to view the city but a little cool to eat outside at night.

Room Tip: Some rooms face onto a courtyard, some onto a street.

Dear Georginamartin,

Thank you very much for your choice and your kind words!
It is a great pleasure to read your review.
Nice no know that you liked our rooftop terrace.
Our guests can enjoy the magical view of the historical part of St. Petersburg from our new terrace and enjoy the beauty of the lighted bridge across the Neva as it raises to allow ships to pass through the city.
We would be happy to see you, your family, colleagues and friends again!

Kind regards,
Eugenia Danilikhina

Came here on a family trip. Loved living near the summer gardens and having a beautiful hotel room. Free minibar is a bonus! St. Petersburg isn't the most bike friendly city, but having the bikes available was excellent for visiting everything without too much fatigue. Also working out at the gym was extremely enjoyable: small yet complete facility. Sauna/pool appeared almost new and were also well loved. View from Vino/Voda at top was spectacular.

In our restaurant VINO&VODA and it’s terrace we offer special Thai menu made by our colleagues from InterContinental hotel Bangkok. In December 2016 we launched a new additional menu – Georgian with assistance of our colleagues from InterContinental Tbilisi.
We would be happy to see you, your family, colleagues and friends again!

The Indigo seems far away from the main sites but in actual fact is only about 30 minute walk to most attractions. The rooms were very comfortable, the rate does not include breakfast which I do like hotels to do. The staff recommended all our places to eat and TSAR was our favorite. This town and the sites are amazing, you could spend a week at the Hermitage alone. I will definitely be back and stay here again.

Front desk staff are great! Lovely, modern rooms with gorgeous bathrooms. Main restaurant is good, especially breakfast. Hotel is in good location for tourists, short walk to main areas. Saw some local couples having their wedding day lunch or dinner here at the top floor restaurant.

This is a very good hotel. Modern rooms in an old building, clean, comfortable, friendly and with everything you need. Very good breakfast. I ended up giving it only 4 stars because it is a little on the edge of things so a minimum of 25/30 minute walk to the Hermitage and further to some other sights. This didn't bother us particularly but be prepared. The other reason is that their bar served one of the worst martinis I ever had. A minor point and I both would stay here again and recommend it to friends.
