As many have mentioned it is close to train station but it is also 10 min walk from Vladivostok Marina and best restaurants/clubs in the city (check TripAdvisor for the reference). Very convenient. Most of the rooms are basic with outdated furniture (although quite clean). Internet connection is quite reliable (was important to me as I was on biz trip). Standard breakfast is included. A few hints. Restaurant which provides breakfasts is not part of the hotel but you may have lunches/dinners there with a 15% discount as hotel guest (as of October 2017). Menu is extensive and food quality is very reasonable. A few rooms were renovated recently. Although they are smaller but have aircons and looks modern

Room Tip: Ask for renovated rooms (they are smaller but more modern and with A/C).

Very dated furnishings. No air conditioning. Had to leave a window facing the busy street open all night.
The breakfast was okay but most food was tailored to theChinese and Korean guests. Good price and that was all.

Firstly it is just a 5 minutes walk to the train station which itself is a touristic stop.secondly the bus terminal is located at the station. You can just hop on to any bus which take you around for just 40 rubles. This way you can familiarise yourself with the city and save you a lot of walking. Thirdly iit is located near the quay where the fine seven feet restaurant is located. It is an easy 10 minutes walk and you will be rewarded with one of the best meal you can get in Valdivostok. Lastly it is a relatively cheap hotel but clean. They only accept cash though.

This is often the first city visited by tourists to Russia and this hotel is ideal. Good location near railway station and also near banks and supermarket.
They let them selves down a little with an out of date compendium in the rooms advertising on site restaurants that have moved but their web site has been updated and is correct.

Well this hotel is very difficult to review. Some staff were not very pleasant (to say the least) and then on other occasions exactly the same staff were most friendly and helpful!

On our arrival, and due to a huge language barrier and (I believe) a lack of desire to understand, it was not possible to make clear my request for a double-bedded room – as opposed to a twin - for my wife and I. Our room (411) was indeed a twin, overlooking the main street. It was very er.. ‘compact’ with just enough room to accommodate the two single beds and a bit of furniture, Air conditioning was provided by an electric oscillating fan. As per other reviews, the beds were hard, but this was not found to be a particular problem. The bathroom was very small with a little tub with a shower over. I did eventually manage to get some quite warm water from it. I found some fair reception channels on the television but no English speaking, unless they were any of the ones that were scrambled. Wifi (included in the price) was non-existent. Other guests were complaining about not being able to connect and like me were being given codes for all the floors in the hope that one would be successful. None were. It was only in the morning, in the breakfast room, that I could get connected and that was after a receptionist went through an extensive logging-on procedure including entering her telephone number!

Although breakfast was selected from a menu with a waiter service the food was delivered pretty quickly. The menu was somewhat basic but included the ‘American Option’ – this was actually just a choice of eggs or omelette and included some toast. The only self-service options were the fruit juices; tea/coffee and er.. Pizza. Certainly no thrills or the extras associated with modern hotels – ie. fruit and pastries – unless ordered as one of the menu options.

The location for proximity to the railway station was excellent and good for visiting some of the nearby sights. I was not too disappointed, though, that our itinerary change had reduced our stay to just the single night. It is very possible though that, apart from the single five star hotel, this could be one of the best choices in the city.
