Tired hotel with flakeing paint and plaster, however that is the least of your problems.
We had a room on the 5th floor and sleep is hardly possible due to the noise generated by the KTV room on the 4th Floor!

My wife has family in Iloilo so we came for Dinagyang, perfect location for the event. Crazy traffic but not the hotel’s fault. If i was paying American prices for a downtown hotel with pool/gym/breakfast included I would give a lower rating. The infinity pool was very nice, the gym was clean and modern but the breakfast was less than average and the rooms should be updated/painted and overall fixed. Our refrigerator was not working, so they replaced it, with another that did not work.
The breakfast was subpar. Maybe it was due to the mass of people there for the festival, but there were some sights at the buffet I wish I took pictures of.
One day our room was not cleaned either. It was disappointing being out if the hotel for 9 hours and coming back to an unkept room. We made a phone call and the hotel was very apologetic and immediately cleaned it and it never happened again.
If you are looking for a high end modern hotel with the bells and whistles then this hotel is not for you. If you are looking for a hotel within mere feet of the sights of downtown Iloilo at a very reasonable price then this is the perfect place.

Affordable hotel. One thing that needs to be improved asap is the unwelcoming attitude of the front desk staff. Grand Xing is the 3rd hotel so far, ranging from 3 to 4 stars, we've stayed in Iloilo City; the Grand Xing's front desk staff is subpar.
"High-quality hotel for a cheap price. The rooms are decently clean all the time and have a nice air conditioning. The food in the restaurant offers a huge variety of menu that you can choose from. Lastly, staffs are easy to find and are very accommodating. "
