The place is spacious enough for events like weddings, debuts, company outings, birthdays, etc. It's a very good place to relax, swim, and watch the sunset. The rooms are not that expensive too. It's worth paying for. However, their food are not that excellent. Their food is ok but it's not something you'll crave for.

The place is pleasant, nice and family oriented. It can be a relaxing place to spend with fill on a weekend. Reasonably priced but you will need a vehicle to get to the place. They have cottages for overnight stay and huts for day tours. They have a nice slide to go with the pool. Kid friendly too.

15 years ago, my family were frequent visitors of the resort. The mediterranian- themed resort was ahead of its competitors, having a variety of amenities and unique pools. Rooms were well appointed surrounded with lush greeneries and the resort was a hot pick for events in the city. Today, as we stroll around the resort, little improvements have been made and management only built loads of rooms that just congested the place. We booked ajoining pool rooms, decent size, same old look. My dad joked that the thinned out blanket he was given seemed to be the one he used 10 years ago when they last visited the resort. Staffs seemed to lack the happy smile they once wore and pools lacked maintenance as well. Wifi was decent compared to other hotels. Overall, palmas is still a wonderful place to go to if you look to unwind within the city. However, with all the new resorts popping up and prices are somewhat similar, it is evident that palmas is lagging behind. Management should improve the resort's amenities to keep up with its competitors. 3.5 stars

Went to this resort for dinner with some local friends who know it very well. Friendly and attentive service, reasonably priced and a beautiful location and grounds. The menu offered local Filipino dishes and specialities as well as a range of international dishes. I wanted to try the local food, so my friends ordered a selection of Filipino and local dishes, all were very tasty.

The experience was great since it was not a crowded season and the pools are well maintained that we enjoyed pool hopping. Can be a romantic place to go for dating and you can explore the places therein.
