I've lived in Bacolod for 2 years and have always been dismayed by the lack of cuisine options in a city of half a million. That's been changing and Rau Ram is a welcome player.
The menu is small and representative of good, classic Vietnamese dishes. I went with two others, so we ordered a nice sampling of 5 dishes. The Bo Kho was worth a return visit - outstanding.
The Banh Mi was okay, a little skimpy on the pork. The vegetarian spring rolls were fresh and tasty with a surprise of a little apple inside for freshness. My friends also ordered grilled pork belly and loved it with the sriracha sauce.
Prices are so low, you don't hesitate to try a couple of dishes.
I will definitely return and have already been talking it up at the office.
