Room was old and toilet was not so clean.Needs renovation and room was dark. You can hear people along corridor during early morning time.Location was ok as it is near city center and along lacson which has many transportation options for travellers.Reception was nice and fast for both check-in and check out process.

The place is very neat and the ambiance is cool. Its also strategically located in some stores like 7-11. have a daily buffet and their cakes is also deli! Plus factor? Not so expensive hotel! Easy on the pocket.
I love their set of breakfast menu.ordered bacon and egg, longganiza. Their bacon was superv! Now I know where to stay when in Bacolod.

I was looking for a place to stay overnight because I was unfortunately stranded in Bacolod due to storm. I am glad to have stayed in this hotel. The staff are friendly and the cost of staying here is just a fraction of the other hotels in Bacolod. Will definitely come back here when I am in Bacolod.

Business Inn is probably one of the first hotels in the city. They need to upgrade the conditions of their room.

Things that I like: a. location- it's along Lacson Highway and very accessible to public transportation. b. room size- it's quite big and even the bathroom is spacious.

Things that they could improve on: a. the breakfast buffet is not as good as before. But I guess due to rocketing prices, they need to adjust. The omelette is the only saving grace in their spread. b. safety- they relocated the light switch in the bathroom and just taped the wires on the old one. This might electrocute some of the guests if they touched the wires instead of the light switch (see attached photo).

I was looking for a hotel near the port area and this was one of the options that came out. I called and a room was available and so I went.

The taxi ride from SM was quite short and in a few minutes I was already checking in. The warm smiles complemented the cool looking interior, Bacolod wasn't dubbed as the City of Smiles for nothing.

I was given a room on the third floor. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't have an elevator. Fortunately for me, I needed a workout.

As the bellboy opened the door, I was greeted by a musky odor. Once I got used to the smell, I found the room okay - nice furniture, big room, hot and cold shower, cool but a bit noisy A/C. If one isn't choosy, it's a good room and it opens to a nice atrium if one wants a little sunshine amidst some greenery.

I didn't have that luxury, though. So after a few calls and texts, I was out of my room and onto the streets on my way to meet a client. I was there in no time, a testament to the strength of this hotel - its location. You step out into one of the City's busiest streets and have the option to take a jeepney (the Philippines mini bus) to wherever you want to go, even if it doesn't sound like it from inside your room.

Overall I'd say that it's value for money if one is not so choosy. Easy access, big rooms, okay WiFi and warm smiles as expected from the denizens of this city.
