We stayed at Bluewater Maribago in one of the deluxe rooms in the garden area. The room was spacious and clean. It's unavoidable that there are insects so bring an insect repellent spray or lotion to avoid insect bites. We brought our 1 year old toddler with us so we appreciate that they were able to provide a crib.

The staff are very warm and friendly. Our check-in and check-out was fast. Room service was ok as well. Late checkouts are fine but you will be charged with a fee which is reasonable but some resorts waive the late checkout if there are no other guests coming in to occupy the room, which I hope they did for us since we stayed for 3 nights.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Allegro. It has a lot of food choices and, I think, worth the money. There are high chairs in the restaurants as well. As for the dinner buffet at Allegro, in my opinion, is a bit too expensive for the food choices they serve. We tried their "Catch of the Day" night. The food weren't impressive. It would have if they had lobster and the food served lacked flavor.

The seawater is not very clean to swim in but they have 3 swimming pools that our baby enjoyed swimming. Their play areas are also nice.

The resort is located near a Savemore supermarket. It sells most brands of diapers, milk, etc. for our baby which is very convenient.

Overall, our stay at Bluewater Maribago was relaxing and fun. We will stay at Maribago again.

Room Tip: Bring insect repellent lotion or spray. Also, there are a lot of restaurants in the area to try.

If you're looking for a nice beach, don't go to this resort, the beach is like a pond, it's not really a original white sand, they just put white sand on top of it. It only look good in pictures but not in person. We didn't even swim in the beach!and the resort is too over priced, a 40 pesos San mig light outside is 200 in this resort. And I bought a life jacket for my son in SM for 500 pesos then I've seen one in the store of this resort, and selling it for 1500! This resort take advantage of the foreigners! Don't come here, waste of time and money!!

One thing that I appreciated was their free shuttle from the resort to the church during Simbang Gabi or Dawn Mass.

Staff are not flexible as they overly stick to their policies. Check out time is 11am and they give you 1 more hour as a courtesy late check out! It's quite funny coz majority of the hotel offers 12noon as standard checkout time! They wont also accommodate you if you arrive at 2:30pm since their standard check-in time is 3pm!

Food at their restaurant is good. Breakfast offerings is awesome!

Stayed here for 2 nights. We enjoyed the beach. We find the pools too small but the kids enjoyed them anyway. I specially love their food. Staff are annoying--always asking if we have (booked) a room in their resort. The staff at the kid's play area is also not accommodating. My kids wanted to play the toys but it seems like she doesn't want the area untidy.
