They have a great marketing team!! Kudos for making it look like a great hotel. Don’t get deceived though! !
The lobby looks nice but once you’re inside- it was unkept and disgusting. The bedroom and bathroom are substandard. They need to fumigate because the hotel is infested with FLYING ANTS!! We were literally bitten by them the entire night and it was also NON-REFUNDABLE. The buffet was a combination of 3 courses and it wasn’t even tasty. If we could have known that the hotel was infested, we should have never gone there. We lost alot of money but we have to find a safer space for our son.
Please see pictures below and I hope this helps. Don’t ever book a night at this place. This is a hotel from HELL!!

Overall impression was great but take the white cab or grab. Saves 100 peso but yellow can flat rate at 500 pesos from airport.
Only bad about the place is housekeeping. Had to wait one hour after arrival. Reception asked them room ready but replied not yet.
Had lunch with good local new goreng.
Came back at 2pm but room still not ready. Waited till 2.30pm to get room.
Safe not working and needed adaptor so went to reception to ask. Didn't come. Informed housekeeping on way to spa (So so) Came back one hour later didn't come. Call reception. Didn't come.
Had to shout from balcony to the staff below. Duly came with adaptor and adjusted the safe.
Enjoyed the beach and good to walk towards the end of the bridge to swim and see the fishes.
Saving grace only in Jorgie and also Ivy for changing our rooms to double bed. Should promote them soonest as they are people of calibre and what made the diffetence between boycotting and coming back.
Lastly upon check out, had the housekeeping said we consumed 2 drinks; - namely mango and ice lemon tea (which Jorgie informed me and would waive them). Saving grace.
Thanks Jorgie abd Ivy for making our stay at Pacific Cebu a memorable and worthy of 5 star standard.

We are staying here at the hotel as i write this. So many bad things, i would say management related, but let me start with the positive.
Neil in the dive shop was awesome. See my separate review.
The grounds looks great, 4 big clean pools with great sunbeds, pillows and beds are comfy, possibly new sheets and towels as there is a lot of white in the room. Negatives: food, in room spa bath and staff training which equals sloppy incompetence from the check in to the wait staff.
The front desk i emailed and called before i arrived and yet our room had to be 'made up/found?' at 5pm. Phone calls for the next day and night telling us we had to check out etc...
Restaurant food was terrible, i love local street food and can almost eat anything. Buffet breakfast was soggy left over vege curry or bacon so dry it was like baked chewing gum, lunch was similar. We were here 4 days!
The fine dining restaurant served unlimited wings which were 8 chicken bones covered in batter. Unlimited apparently meant the 8 wings were the only part of the chicken served and they were in fact limited to those 8 bones! Every meal was terrible. We kept ordering different things hoping one item would be edible! I could go on.
The in room spa bath was disgusting. Rusted spa sockets that dont even work. A FILTHY $2 mouldy bath mat in the bottom. Even though i nicely asked for it to be cleaned, it was given a quick hose.
When i pay over $350/night i expect more than this.
Our ocean view was in fact of the mangrove swamp in front. The ocean is beyond that.
Get you act together managers train your staff, check things yourself and start realising tourism will die if you don't pick up your standards!

The location is good and great pic location. That being said, it’s expensive and very poor quality of room quality and lack of maintenance. We had no hot water and they left smelling pillows, assuming from previous guests on the bed and had to ask to have it replaced with clean ones. The rate is very high and comes with a mediocre breakfast. Considering we paid over 200 USD for one night it was very disappointing and the staff don’t seem to care if you complain.

Our family stayed here last weekend to celebrate my father's birthday and had a lovely time. Our rooms had two floors, with the bathroom, fridge, table and chairs in the ground floor, and two single beds, dresser, and balcony on the upper floor. I actually loved this setup because it kept the sleeping area peaceful and mess-free, but seniors who need to go to the bathroom often might want to request for a room that's solely in one floor. Spotted a small roach in the bathroom once but otherwise the room was reasonably clean. Four pools to choose from but only one that allows younger kids. Loved walking in the pier and relaxing in the hammocks and gazebos. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. We would especially like to commend the lady who checked us in and out, Fatima. Despite the minor complaints, we will definitely stay here again.
