whenever I come here, I can see the heartfelt I can feel that I am with God, the place is solemn, people pray and respect one another. This place is sacred, if you come visit Cebu first time, I suggest that the very first place you should visit is this Basilica del Santo Niño church as we Filipinos believed that in every place you have never been, you need to visit the oldest church to ask for guidance and safety trip from God. This would also make your entire trip a wonderful one.

Historic religious place, especially for Catholics. very busy with candle vendors offering candles for sale that are simply placed on shrines (resold later?).

Solemnity of Soul which requires moment of silence. A place where you can find the ancient relic of the Sacred baby Jesus which given to us during the Spanish Era.

This is a popular place of worship in Cebu City. The altar is just stunning! Standard part of a city tour itinerary. Non- catholics would surely be amazed on how people show their faith & devotion. It is located near schools, city hall other nearby attractions so I doubt that you’d be able to get clean shots without photobombers on it 😂

Tip: if you are a Catholic, people queue up to see & pray to the miraculous Sto. Nino de Cebu at the front left corner of the Church. You cannot take photos at that portion of the church ✌🏽
