The hotel, although a bit old, is well maintained. The area of the hotel is quite big. Staff are polite and ready to accommodate our needs. The room is quaint with the necessary facilities. Food, though not exceptional, tastes good. Their function rooms are also quite big. Their a/v equipment are in good condition. All in all, it was a good stay.

Room smelly like septic. Creepy room and bathroom. Poor customer service. They cannot give two keys. Poor wifi . Front desk not prepared for receipts and SOA. No hot tea for breakfast. Amenities in room is lacking. Breakfast buffet but served 630pm instead of promised 6am. Late. Looks like an abandoned hotel. Needs refurbishing or thorough cleaning. Will not comeback to this hotel ever.
Supposedly a good vacation turned out to be a quarrel with my partner. This hotel had a very poor service. We went to the pool for a morning dip. we had our shower before dipping. then My partner's attire is not suitable for the pool. instead of swimming we just asked for the towels to dry ourselves and get appropriate swimming attire. We waited for 30 minutes just for the towels. We were not allowed to swim therefore we were out in the cold, wet without towels. I demanded for the towel but my partner told me to keep silent. and it ended up a quarrel between us.
Room service is very very poor. You would have to call the operator 3 times just to get a laundry bag. And when you get the laundry bag, it's just a mere plastic cellophane. It doesn't even compensate to their expensive tariffs.
Carpet along the hallway stinks like a rotten rat. And the hallway does not even have a light. At night it's very creepy.
Security guards are very suspicious of your moves. You can't even move freely because they are always looking at you as if you're gonna break or steal something. They don't even have an idea that you are a guest.
On the good side, the hotel amenities were good. Pool is nice, but staffs are not so nice. Food in the restaurant is very good.
Final Verdict:
Given their tariffs for a standard room as 3,500 pesos. I would suggest not to stay in this hotel. Their service is 1,000 pesos. Better spend your money somewhere else. Stayed at room 207.
The place has a very nice swimming pool. The room was clean and quiet with nice options.The man "Jade " at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. The staff is friendly. The free breakfast was very good food displayed nicely.
Garden in the City! The beddings were excellent! Would have wanted to stay in bed the whole day had it not been for the scheduled beach excursion. Our room was cozy and the air conditioner was in great condition. Would love to go back when I next visit Davao.
I have stayed here numerous times over the past few years. The staff are very curtious and friendly and the rooms are large and spotlessly clean - only downside being delay in the air on kicking in.
Breakfast is OK when it's buffet style but Iwhen the hotel isn't full it comes as a set menu which I don't care much for. Nice swimming pool but the limited Sun beds / chairs would benefit from a more regular clean.
The hotel is slap bang half way between Victoria and Gaisano Malls and close to where the locals live, eat and work so it's an idea location in which to get involved in the local community. There are sari-sari shops, laundries, sewing outlets, cafes, beauticians amongst others things all within 5 minutes walk.
