This review is a long overdue. But here it goes. Dusit D2 Davao never fails to surprise me. Since the Covid outbreak and flights are down, staycation is my only option. And I personally chose to always book in Dusit because it’s where i feel at home the most. But that’s not just about it. The main reason why me and mu friends keeps coming back is because of Miss Vanessa Llego, she is the epitome of a perfect customer service. She really goes out of her way just to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. I always arrived early and she’s able to help us for an early check in. She made us feel very welcome and at home. getting us signed in & offering us complimentary drink No even just a glass of water is a very good gesture. Vanessa was very helpful, she has this smile the entire time, and remembered our names throughout our stay, gave us information, maps & directions when needed, even called us in the room to give us further information. Arranged our dinner reservations and were very efficient, always asking if we'd like tea, coffee fresh juices etc.
We even had a knock on the door in the evening to check that everything was ok with the room.

This really is an exceptional hotel in a lovely quiet part of Central Davao. Last Sunday before checking in i had a minor accident from out morning water activity. Upon arriving in the hotel Vanessa noticed the bruises in my face she then called the hotel nurse to check on me, gave me cold compress, checked my vital signs, gave me medication and even checked on me in the room for monitoring. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Its quaint, over the top service, great Thai restaurant the pool is cozy and the rooms are lovely.... I’ll see you again this Thursday Dusit

Can’t even thank the staff enough for making our stay extra memorable! We only had to inform them that we were celebrating our anniv and they took the liberty of surprising us with all these bed of roses and kissing towel swans and cake! The works! Haha. We were especially touched when we were having dinner in Benjarong (which by the way is the best Thai restaurant in Davao! bar none) and the lady staff greeted us again with good wishes while giving us another complimentary cake! How very thoughtful. i’m definitely coming back! Not even for another occasion such as this but merely to have a place where I can just feel pampered and when I wanna have delicious food. Their plain cheese ensaymada is pretty good, too! Can’t wait! Thanks, again!

We had a great experience while staying at the hotel;the accommodation, services and food were all wonderful. I also want to commend a specific person from the Madayaw Cafe, Ms. Jade for a commendable service towards her guests, she goes beyond what is expected and establish good rapport with her guests while observing health protocols as well.. All in all we look forward to staying at Dusit again. Thank you everyone!
