Had to unexpectedly find a place to stay after midnight with the family without a reservation. I was relieved to find this quaint hotel conveniently located near the highway, but secluded enough to enjoy a good night’s rest. Front desk was very helpful and cordial. We were quickly assisted to check in. It’s a boutique 3-storey hotel with a pool and spacious common lounge areas that afforded a comfortable, quiet place to either work or relax in. Hotel had all the basic amenities (except a personal ref). Toiletries were complete for our emergency stay. Bed cushions and blankets were quite thin. Nonetheless, our room was spacious, esp the bathroom which had nice wooden, tile & stone interiors. Their restaurant resembled that of a big hotel’s with a high ceiling and surrounded by glass windows. Breakfast was a set meal of both continental & Filipino selections. Over-all would recommend this hotel to the unprepared traveler looking for a place to freshen up and rest.

The place is just ok,i don't see any wow factor its like a typical hotel but with spacious parking lot,the food is a bit expensive, and most of their main course is a bit sweet but flavorful, but the food that pass my taste bud is their mix vegetables with seafoods and their crispy tofu.

Made a last minute reservation during the long weekend and good thing there's 1 last room left. Place is 2.5 hours drive from Manila via SLEX and STAR toll via Sto. thomas exit.

Place is quite and private if you want to have a quite time. Staffs are courteous and helpful for any assistance you need. Rooms are bigger than usual and hot and cold water is available. Pool is ok and is warm salty type. I was told this is due to lessen the chlorine.

Hotel restaurant food are delicious so better check this out before you go.

Breakfast meals are plated so be sure to pick your breakfast when you checked-in.

Overall I'm happy with the place and is recommended if you want to spend a nice and quiet time away from crowded place.

The hotel is really nice, surrounded by nature. The room are nice, really clean, only a little bit small, especially the bathroom. The staff was always smiling and very very kind. The breakfast is not self service, so you have to book the day before the meal that you want to have for breakfast, but they prepare for you everything. So it is not a problem at all.
We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant, we were the only ones in the restaurant and, franking speaking, we were a bit worried about the quality, but we were wrong: the meals were really good, really tasted and fresh.
I really suggest to have dinner in the restaurant because it is really really good.
Another good detail: in the room, there was some fresh fruits, apple, orange and mango... it was really really pleasurable!

Auravel is just off the main highway of San Pablo City next to a badminton stadium. The presentation and lay out of the place and the welcome you receive from staff makes you feel right at home. But like anything nothing is perfect. Tea and coffee facility in the room is not available and like a lot of hotels near any highway in the Philippines it suffers from highway and neighborhood noise. Auravel is a beautiful property and i wish management would take note that the place needs active maintenance as it is starting to show bits of wear and tear. Going on its current standard i would highly recommend the place and stay here again..hopefully they'll maintain it as i would like to see myself here in the future.
