One of my favorite dining experiences is when the building housing the restaurant has a history and this one is an old air traffic control tower - some of the original windows are still in situ - so your immediate feeling is one of charm and interest when you arrive. We were visiting Phillipines from South Africa and our hotel Raffles recommended we try The Blackbird
We were so happy with the recommendation- the food is Fusion and such an interesting variety so unexpected - my husband had Wagyu beef and I had a pumpkin ravioli both outstanding
We had a bottle of dry New Zealand rose which was fabulous!!!
A home made
Mango and lychee ice cream finished it off!
I would go back again and recommend this fabulous restaurant for a special meal
