Booked the Peninsula for one night transit to Europe for our Honeymoon. Nice hotel with a spectacular lobby (Christmas decorations were wonderful) but somewhat disappointing room even though I booked a deluxe. It was functional and the bathroom was nice, but it did not quite look like a deluxe in a 5-star hotel.
Another reason I did not give it 5 stars was that there was almost nowhere to sit in the lobby if you were not dining. Most tables were pre-booked by non-residents and to have a drink we had to go to one of their bars which was a weird experience as we were the only ones there and the place looked like somewhere the Munsters would live and had to put up with soccer on the screen. After one expensive drink we left! Breakfast while varied, was a bit of a zoo and food not so fresh.
Still, we appreciated the cake in our room and had an overall nice stay.

In one word this hotel is simply unbelievable!
The staff are so well trained they seem to be able to be one step ahead of you wherever you are in the hotel. From the time of check in At probably the busiest time of the year from check in to check out the service was faultless and worth every cent. Lovely quintet playing above the lobby area , not too noisy just right.
Our room which included a large lounge, was ultra quiet and the beds perfect.
I could not recommend this hotel any higher- just amazing.

Our stay in October 2021 was met with a string of disappointments mainly due to resourcing and coordination challenges. Management was very open to feedback and delivered on their promise to ensure we have an elevated experience in our next stay.

This will always be an unforgettable staycation as Peninsula Manila gave us a warm and cozy welcome as we hosted family birthdays and a belated anniversary celebration.

Special thanks to Marcel & Christina who, while no longer part of the Manila group, helped sort out arrangements, to Miguel who helped prepare for our stay, and to Angel who helped assist with our brunch reservation at the Escolta.

Room tip: Book a room via their website to avail of Peninsula Time packages to maximize your stay.

This is my favorite hotel in Manila. It’s a great neighborhood. The pool area is fantastic. Rooms are spacious with nice views. Breakfast is great. Lots of nearby restaurants. I hadn’t been to the Phillipines in three years because of the pandemic, it was nice seeing familiar faces when I arrived. Jeff and Deo- thank you for taking such great care of me at the pool bar. They make fantastic cocktails.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For a longtime I’ve wanted to stay at this hotel and the opportunity finally arose that my wife and I were able to stay for e few day over the New Year celebrations.
Despite how busy the hotel was for New Years the organisation from check-in and throughout our stay was just exceptional, all the staff where extremely friendly, helpful and so dedicated, nothing was ever to much trouble.
We booked a room which gave us access to the Gallery Club which I don’t think there is enough superlatives to say how good the experience was. I hope through this review our thanks and gratitude will be passed on to the staff in the Club.
As this was just a short break we didn’t have an opportunity to eat in all the restaurants but we did manage to eat in Spices and if you enjoy Asian Cuisine then you have to eat here. The food is an explosion of some of the finest spices mixed with fine meats, fishes and vegetables all prepared to perfection.
On a scale of 1 to 10 this hotel is definitely a 10 which I highly recommend and can’t wait to return too.
