I stayed here for four nights, and it was perfectly lovely. I had lounge access, which I highly recommend. The spread is way bigger than I've ever seen at any other hotel. There were two people that took particularly good care of me at the lounge. One was a very kind man named Eugene, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the other. She was a younger female staff and told me she was a quarter Chinese. She mentioned she was reading the Henri Nouwen book that I was reading. I want to say her name was Julia? I'm just trying really hard to make sure this gets to her and her team haha. They were extremely helpful and kind to me.
You can enjoy the club lounge cocktail hour in the lobby lounge too, which I highly recommend you try at least once. I really don't think there are many lobbies as stunning as this hotel's. Halo halo is legendary in the lobby. The pool is also beautiful and a wonderful place to relax.
The rooms were a little outdated but perfectly fine and clean, and maybe the one part that I truly didn't like was how dirty the window was. But this was the first time I realized that sometimes the quality of a room has so little to do with the hotel experience. There was a true commitment to personalized service. People remembered me by my name, and even with small things, they go above and beyond to accommodate. They always greet you with the kindest smiles. The times I left various books on my desk in the room, I came back to a hotel bookmark. I couldn't praise the quality of the service at this hotel enough.
I didn't want to leave! This will surely be my hotel of choice when I return to Manila. Thank you all, thank you so much for a memorable experience!
