Our family has been a regular here for a few years now. We always get the Kaizen Bento for lunch, as this has fresh sashimi prepared by their Japanese chef. By far one of the freshest tasting Kaizens I've tried here in Manila. You need to go at lunch to avail of the bento box deal (which I've heard they don't serve during dinner time). Make a reservation as this restaurant gets crowded during the weekends. Will come back again soon! 5 stars!

Love their bento boxes during lunch time, good variety and reasonably priced. Their spicy tuna maki is one of the best I've had in the Philippines. Get their cold tea (it's free!) Sometimes not super clean and a little noisy but I love the ambiance and come here often.

A little high end for me, however, they have a special deal for lunch and many Japanese (including myself) go there on a Saturday lunch to avail this good deal.

This place is located in Little Tokyo. I love the freshness of the sushi and sashimi, prepared as you order by the Japanese chef. You can request for a seat at the bar facing the chef if you like watching them prepare the food or in private little rooms if you want to have meetings or just plain privacy. The steak cooked on heated stone and the soup cooked in paper cup adds more credence to this place being more authentic Japanese. The service is friendly and efficient but make sure you book before going as this place is often fully booked.

Wanted to try Sushi from an authentic Japanese restaurant and not from one of the chain restaurants. I was not disappointed, the sushi rice was freshly made, not pre-made and stored and the Sashimi tasted fresh. As usual I ordered too much but managed to eat most of it. Looked to be frequented by Japanese nationals, always a good sign.
Staff did not come across as attentive, some seemed to not want to be there which was a shame otherwise it would have been a very good experience rather than just a good one.
