Our second visit as good as our first - Laing is flavorful, nuanced and a much finer take on a classic Bicolano dish (the old adage saying that one eats at restaurants to enjoy cuisine they can't make at home)... Liempo was chunkier than what one would expect but tasty; Gammas were as good as any Spanish resto with pronounced garlic flavors... service is designed as Filipino as the language of service is Tagalog.

Environ is contemporary design - attractive and also, clean.

We'll be back!

With such elegant decoration and fine service. The food came in as a disappointment. Order a few dishes and some were good, most were average.

I wonder for such price as well, I do expect more.

I was at XO restaurant once but I have always been curious about this stand alone restaurant along Jupiter. Turns out they serve good Fil-Chinease cuisine and you can even buy frozen items like dimsum for your home cooking. A definite must stop for lunch or dinner or even afternoon tea.

We were actually here more than a couple of times since the restaurant opened up. From the facade, you can see that the restaurant looks like they are giving out comfort food. The ambiance looks very relax. But after experiencing their food and the restaurant ambiance, we stop going there altogether since nothing is improving and it seems that everything is getting worse!

With all the "Best Filipino Restaurant" awards it has collected, I had expectations. Can't blame me. I'm not sure if it was just one of their "off days" but my friend and I were so disappointed with the food (soup in clay pot was LUKEWARM, NOT PIPING HOT) and the empanadas were blah. Did the waitress fail to pick up and deliver these goodies en pronto to our table? We waited MORE than half hour, for sure. We were already getting annoyed with all the "Señorita this, Señorita that" language of the waitress who surely mouthed those lines mechanically and without sincerity. When we decided to skip dessert (and spare ourselves another hour of waiting) and ask for the bill, no one looked our way. The same way no one came to sit us when we arrived. Like the wait staff were all over (only 3 tables were occupied) yet no one minding us! How annoying is that? If kitchen is having an off day, the serving crew looked like they're better off taking a leave.
