This is a good place to stay if you need to be in the city area. The rooms are basic. Quite big and clean although it has been built years ago it is still clean. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. The location is the one you are paying for. It is walking distance from Burnham Park and the market, and Session Road. Easy to explore Baguio from this hotel. If you are not picky and just a place to stay after all your busy tours and exploration of the city this is value for money. The breakfast is plated choices from American and Filipino breakfast which was good. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff, even at the restaurant staff were all courteous. Overall we had a good stay.

Room tip: Choose rooms on a higher floor

We decided to stay at Golden Pine because this is quite near to the city but you can still find it a quiet place to stay and the area is not too crowdy. It maybe old but they can still provide a good accommodation (i.e., towels, basic toiletries, complimentary water and bedroom slippers). Room we had stayed (deluxe twin) is spacious as well as the bathroom. If you want to explore Baguio in a different way, this could be nice place as it is near to almost everything.

ROOM: Terrible, musty with cockroaches
WIFI SECURITY: Terrible, FB accounts were hacked after just a night of stay.
LOO: broken and we were given a bucket to deal with it
SERVICE: Feedbacks on reported issues were taken matter -of - factly . Must be pretty common to them.

Very near burnham park, good taste restaurant, public market and session road. There is a bank and a Mcdo along the street. Many good restaurants within the area. If you are the practical type of traveller then this is for you. They renovated their rooms. Staffs are friendly especially their guards. Good simple breakfast.
