We used to love this place but our recent stay in Baguio left a negative impression coming from a different perspective.

As hotel guests,
PROS:
✅ good level of customer service, staff are friendly and helpful

✅ easy to make reservation

✅ easy to hail a cab, staff are willing to assist

CONS:
⭕ The Manor does not allow pets. So if you have fur baby, you have to book another hotel. If you plan to bring your fur babies in order to dine in, they have to stay outside the hotel as per the staff we spoke with.

⭕ being a hotel visitor - the staff will primarily ask you "are you staying here or are you a hotel guest?" Discrimination is very distinct and we felt dismayed. This is not the kind of The Manor we expect.

⭕ difficult to find a cab at night - when we're hotel guest, staff used to be attentive to our needs and they're helpful.

During our recent visit (last week) as hotel visitors, even after asking for staff assistance, they ignored the request and we had to cross Mile Hi to hail a cab.

⭕ Customer service badly needs improvement - both in Le Chef and Piano Bar. Staff tend to ignore even when they see you looking for seats, asking for reservation and they easily turn you down instead of giving options.

We enjoyed our staycation in Baguio especially staying in The Manor at Camp John Hay. The ambiance, the staff and every small bit of experience from that place will be treasured and stay in our hearts.

Thank you to General Manager Ramon C. Cabrera, Mr. Romeo Manzon and Elgene Nasog for your warm welcome and for accommodating us.

You guys the reason why we keep coming back ❤️ the staff are very nice!!! ❤️

Room is huge in size, very cozy and great for after work rest. Nice ambiance and scenery, food is great and very welcoming staff. The place is quiet for a family get together, business meetings and group vacation.

Room tip: Rooms are all nice and cozy.

My family and I spent a couple of days celebrating my 35th birthday and it was wonderful. Everyone at The Manor at Camp John Hay was lovely. The staff are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We made special memories. ✨ As always, thank you for making my birthday celebration extra special and memorable
