Been to this hotel a few times already and I am very impressed with the Hotel Architecture, the surrounding view and the food. The staff were friendly as well! It is very near the shops inside Camp John Hay and dont forget to bring your running shoes for a morning jog - the location is just perfect!

The Manor is the epitome of what Baguio should be, distinct architecture, rustic fireplace, good food and lush surroundings.
Ample room space, what we had is the corner suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies where you can have a coffee while listening to the chirping of the birds and smelling the pine trees. Their coffew by the way is so good. The only negative thing for me is the key, they are still using old steel key.so very antiquated.
Views, they have the best i think, if you look out of the window all you can see are ojne trees or if youre lucky you can have the garden view.
All in all it was a very pleasant stay, we dont wanna get out of the room because if you venture a little farther its a cocrete jungke out there with all the noise and pollution typical of a growing urban center that Baguio is.

It was a few days after the New Year and The Mamor was still decorated for the Christmas season. The lobby and garden was very festive and so pretty! Perfect for those who love picture taking! It is well maintained and has been able to keep its old charm. The location is ideal because there are a lot of places to go to nearby and many restaurants in Camp John Hay as well. If you want to just veg and stay in, it has a lovely garden and playground for kids. I would however suggest that you don't book rooms on the ground floor. While we were there every evening they had singers or a band who performed for guests at the lobby restaurant, which was just a few steps from the ground floor rooms. This entertainment went on til late at night. If you have little kids or elderly people with you, trying to get to sleep is a bit challenging.
We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. They offered a nice variety of food, definitely a great way to start the day.

It was Holy Week, and since all of Metro Manila seems to meet up in Baguio at this time of the year, we opted to stay at the Camp John Hay area to avoid the crowds. Convinced by the reviews, we chose The Manor, and it was a good choice indeed!

COMFORT and CONVENIENCE - Booked Deluxe (Forest) view but requested to be waitlisted for Deluxe (Garden) view, and this was granted when room was freed up. Got the first night upgrade for free. Stayed 4D3N and it was well worth it. They even provided a Graco playpen for our baby to sleep in! The deluxe room was very spacious (two queen beds, sink and ref area, study desk area, separate powder area from the toilet, plus a spacious balcony overlooking the garden area). Service was quick and requests are in under 5 minutes despite this being peak season.

Hotel is not the modern minimalist type... but remains to be grand, elegant, and still retains its Baguio charm! Service is excellent and cleanliness is top-notch.

DINING OPTIONS - The Manor's Le Chef is indeed the best in town! Breakfast buffet is not included in the room rates, but for the P800/head price, it was well worth the value. On Black Saturday, it was Jazz night with the likes of Richard Merk and Jong Cuenco over sumptuous buffet.

KID-FRIENDLY - The garden area was set up in time for the Easter Sunday celebrations with lots of options for kids.

PARKING - Valet service is free of charge. Let them take care of your car for you.

VALUE FOR MONEY - Yes, it's pricey but we don't mind paying for the exclusivity and the value that The Manor delivers. Still the place to be, to see and be seen.

Room tip: Garden view if you want to see the activities going on. Take the ones with balconies, it's worth the extra cost.
