We had a chance to experience the Forest Lodge on December 18-20. The hotel is part of CJH. The Manor next door is overcrowded and full of tourist not even staying at the hotel. The Forest Lodge is classy and quiet. Christmas trees adorn the lobby and restaurant. Real trees with that wonderful smell from the needles. Each night carolers sang in restaurant. The nearby grounds had a bon fire and a couple playing guitar and singing songs under the trees. The trees decorated with Lights and large beanbags under the trees to lay on. This felt great under the 16 degrees weather under the stars.

The manager Dominic was kind enough to help us arrange viewing of the World Cup finals at the Manor piano bar. An unbelievable experience watching Argentina win the World Cup.

Our room was excellent and the veranda gave us beautiful views of the mountains.

The coffee shop in the lobby called “The Coffee Stain” made excellent Coffees and Hot Chocolate.

They even had bikes for rental.

We had such a great experience. Special thanks to Faith, Harlvey and Dominic for making our stay perfect.

Forget the Manor, the Forest Lodge is the place to stay if you loath bus loads of tourist roaming the lobbies, hallways, gardens and restaurants.

Great Job Forest Lodge. You are the Best.

We stayed at the Forest Lodge from Oct. 17-20, 2022. We are husband & wife who were forced to stay at a family room because there were no available superior or deluxe rooms for the duration of our stay. While we find the family room ( room 359) clean and spacious, they failed to inform us that instead of having a forest view, what we had is a motorcycle and vehicle view. If only we knew this ahead of time, we should have stayed somewhere else.

We stayed here several times before the pandemic, the staff & the guard are still courteous and always willing to help. We also appreciate the Pianist who was scheduled at about 6-8 pm.

Room tip: Request for a forest view.

We were very warmly welcomed by Karim, a very kind and gentle waiter.
The food was excellent, beautifully served, perfect sized portions and absolutely tasty. We received two amuse bouches and very happy with everything altogether! We will come back and totally recommend this location!

Forest Lodge has been my favorite go to when in Baguio. This post pandemic visit was just a short one taking my one month old grandson along and getting family together. The staff were never short of pleasant things to do. Bell service Adrian and Rudolf took good care of our stuff. Jasper from IT made sure my daughter's work pc got connected thus enjoying an uninterrupted work from home. To my surprise, nurse Michelle came to check on me because of a terrible muscle pain that caused my bp to rise and went an extra mile in doing more than what was expected from her. She applied other skills to help alleviate the pain. Awesome! Simple things done by Troy and the others like bringing ice and water, extra lamp, chairs and whatnots definitely showed that no matter what time of day or night , you can turn to these guys with your concerns. The room was perfect for my family, and there was even a crib for the baby. Slightly disturbing though was that the main door's lockset was not functioning well, otherwise it was all good. Same reason why we always choose to stay with them.
