Our one day at The Forest Lodge was truly unforgettable. It was so nice that we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with own parking. Our room was large and the bed was so comfortable, downside to this was we don't have/ very limited wifi signal in our room. Food was great, and the variety on their breakfast buffet was good. Staffs are very accommodating and courteous. With the restaurants and stores around the hotel, you don't have to go out of Camp John Hay to the traffic and noise outside. Will definitely love to come back. Thanks The Forest Lodge.

Priced just right, great location for those with cars, clean room, great for a family of 4, near good restaurants and activities for the whole family!

It's right beside the popular and always fully booked - The Manor, it connects to the garden for easy access. The Manor has a piano bar where the parents can relax and unwind at night while the kids are safely tucked in the room. You can also enjoy gym and spa services of The Manor.

Room tip: ask for a room that is not so close to the kitchen, the food smells wafts into the room.

our room had a view of the parking lot and my son enjoyed looking outside our window to check on our car every once in a while.

there were no face and hand towels so i requested for them and had to sign a guarantee invoice that i would be accountable in case the 2 pieces became missing.

no robes and slippers. but there was a flat iron the burn marks of which could be seen on the study and on the carpet near the window. the management did not care to hide them anymore.

since only a ceiling fan was present, we opted to open the windows to let the cool breeze in. the sad part was, the sunlight, revving engines and loud voices woke us up earlier then usual.

you could stay here if you want but be prepared for a less relaxing stay.

Stayed here for two nights and we requested and got a room that was facing the forest and beside the Manor, away from the parking. So we were able to enjoy the sight of calming pinetrees just outside our balcony. I like that there's a small sink by the refridgerator/mini bar area so we could wash hands if the bathroom was occupied. I also like the little area adjacent to the bathroom where the closet and vanity mirror is. It was raining every afternoon during our stay and the problem with the hotel parking area are the puddles of water one has to go through to get to your vehicle because the asphalt flooring was uneven. Parking area was also shared with the guests of the Manor.
