Eurotel Baguio's location is very good, 10 t o12 minutes walk going Cathedral, 3 minutes walk going to Burnham Park, one (1) jeepney ride going to Mines View, Botanical Garden and Mansion. (no need to ride taxi, taxi's are taking advantage during peak season, they will ask high rates). Eurotel have good rooms, clean environment and very hospitable crews. They have simple and delicious buffet breakfast. My daugther really enjoyed all the spots that we visited in Baguio. She has separate bed, she loved it. The climate is not so cold due to summer season, but still you can feel the cold wind.

The Eurotel is very coveniently situated just a short ten minutes walk away from Baguio's city centre and the lovely Burnham Park too. Eurotel has many good points,but there were quite a few niggles which displeased me somewhat during my stay.
Our reasonably sized room (No.410) for our eight night stay at the beginning of March was located on the 4th floor and it was accessed by two lifts and an adjacent staircase. It was nicely decorated and it was quite comfortable and clean and we slept well at nights in our twin bedded air conditioned room. Plenty of storage space was provided in the large wardrobe as well as spare bedding for use should one become cold overnight which was a useful and sensible provision. The lighting could be controlled from your bedside which was most convenient. There was no courtesy tray provided however.

I'm sorry, but now the grumbles start...... Housekeeping was non existant, our room not being serviced nor waste bins emptied etc. at all during the duration of our stay - In fact when my wife requested a change of towels after a few days, fresh towels were given only after the hotel had stubbonly delayed her request by 24 hours forcing my wife to demand a towel change the next day directly from the housekeeping supervisor which is wholly unacceptable.
The room's ensuite bathroom was OK but it was completely spoilt by the fact that it had been designed as a wetroom, but which unfortunately failed to drain the water away promptly after a shower had been taken (the floor was still soaking wet the next morning,) hence when you entered the room later on it more often than not had a very wet floor (and a slippery surface too, I might add) and upon leaving the bathroom, even after just having used the toilet your feet or slippers were soaking wet, although fortunately there was a mat provided just outside the bathroom to soak up the worst on exiting.

The television provided in the room had many english speaking channels which was all to the good - but the remote control generally only activated the TV from a foot or so away from the actual TV set which rather defeated the object of having a remote control at all,and as the remote's battery cover was missing I did feel that the remote control was rather overdue either for replacement or for the fitment of new batteries, and I must admit to getting rather fed up with having to get out of bed to change channels and turn the television on and off.
Although Eurotel advertises itself as a businessmens' hotel the safe deposit box in our room did not function,and upon requesting a change to another room where this facilty was available, I was informed that the safe deposit boxes did not work in any of their rooms at all. The lack of a working safe deposit box was a cause of concern to us as we had no desire to lose our passports on the other side of the world to where we live - despite having checked beforehand on the internet booking sites and found that safe deposit boxes were meant to be available at the Eurotel.

On a brighter note the internet connection in our room was excellent (one of the best that I've come across so far in a hotel if I'm to be honest) - we had a fast connection at all times during our stay, and we didn't suffer from any outages at all, so I was extremely pleased with this aspect of the Eurotel's service.

My wife and I visited Baguio City so that my wife could visit her parents who live not so far away, but unfortunately I discovered beforehand when attempting to book us a suitable hotel coinciding with the dates allocated by her workplace that the annual 'Baguio Flower Festival' clashed with the dates of our visit and that our first choice of hotel was already fully booked, hence I had to consider other hotel options. In fact, I had already declined to book one hotel located in the same road as the Eurotel because it was truthful enough to state on their online booking sites that their rooms did not have any windows, and an exterior view is a most essential 'must have' for myself. As Trip Advisor and other booking sites all have inferred on their websites through their photographs that the Eurotel rooms did have windows, I subsequently booked a standard twin room at the Eurotel which had vacancies but I was somewhat dismayed and rather annoyed to discover upon my arrival later that my Eurotel room did not have any outside windows.

Apart from these difficulties that we encountered which possibly might well not bother you too much as I do appreciate that we all have differing needs and priorities when booking hotels. However I can with respect only advise you of my own hotel experiences based upon my own personal needs. observations and expectations, so in addition to what I've already said I must therefore out of all fairness add that the Eurotel was not all bad news and that it is a reasonable hotel if one is prepared to make allowances ... It is conveniently located and a really good breakfast with many choices was served daily between 6am and 10am on the ground floor. Evening meals too which are quite acceptable are served at fair prices, and we found all the staff to be most courteous and helpful at all times. The public areas of the hotel were kept extremely clean at all times.
The prices are not horrendous either - Check the prices out online for yourselves, I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I don't truthfully know whether I'd consider staying at the Eurotel in Baguio again as it has both good and bad points.....But in a room without any windows? - 'NO THANKYOU!'

Room tip: Demand a room with a window if you want a view - Most rooms haven't got windows.

I got a 50% discount on rooms at a travel fair and so I gave this hotel a try.

It is an old hotel and you can see the aged in dated furnitures and furnishings. My room was the basic studio with ensuite bathroom. There was no window but there is a translucent portion of the wall that lets the light in. There was no rug for the bathroom and so we had to be careful on walking around with wet feet. The blanket was thin and when I called to ask for another blanket, I learned I had to rent it for P50 (if I remember it right). The TV was small, old, and not very clear. I thought that the room design was a fire hazard and made sure everyone in the group knew where the fire exits are. All these said, at the cheap rate I got for the room, I was already satisfied with the clean room and bathroom, aircon and wifi.

Their staff were helpful and courteous. Their buffet breakfast is good and satisfying. I didn't hear complaints about breakfast from my mom is are usually critical about food.

With the heavy traffic in Baguio, its location in the city center near Burnham Park made it possible for us to just walk to the Burnham Park and to the market, and it is a very short ride to SM baguio and Skyranch. It saved us time from the horrendous traffic.

If I will go back to Baguio again by myself or with friends and family who are not fussy, I will not hesitate to book here again. But if I'm with family who prefer accomodations with open windows, toiletries, nice TV, and fancier beds, I'll book at another hotel.

booked this hotel due to the outstanding price and very good deal... wasnt disappointed on the first night... all problems adressed properly (refilled our breakfast as we came in a bit late 930am, leaked bidet, no hot water, lacking pillows (we were 4 but only 3 pillows were avail was subsequnently charged 50 pesos)... on our second breakfast day, a person cooking omelette and egg had the gall to tell us named MARA that we needed to pay extra one head for my kid's breakfast... whilst on checking in we confirmed with the reception that children 0-12 yo were free of charge on room rate and breakfast (we had a 12 and 11 yo in tow)., first strike (wasnt she aware of hospital policies??!!') ... upon checking out the lady in the counter told us to wait as they had to check our room first before leaving.... Lo and behold, MARA was again who was dealing with our problem (and checked ourbroom) and told the counter that one of the towels we used was stained (yes it is stained with strawberry and can be easily washed off,)FYI i am a doctor, blood stains are harder to get rid of than just simple straberry stains na sobrang liit naman, ISSUE PA BA YAN MARA?????...strike 2... kulang ata sa public relations... in a span of 1 hour in one morning this person named MARA ruined my impression of and stay at Eurotel Hotel... 5 stars for the rest of the staff , 0 star for MARA... good thing we didnt stay longer of she would have strucked out...

Kudos to the wonderful customer service of front desk and restaurant staff! The room is spacious but a bit dark to my liking. Bathtub looking a bit worn out with minor cracks on the sides and moulds on the silicon gel and tile grouts. The shower curtain torn at the bottom. Toilet paper though reachable is a bit far from the toilet seat. No bathroom floor mat despite the toilet floor being slippery when wet! Shower pressure is great and hot shower is functional! Bed is great but what is only provided are thin linen bed sheets and bed cover as blankets. You could see the bed foam underneath. The pillow covers which are white are dirty or stained which seemed to have not been washed. The kettle does not automatically shut off and drips water underneath after boiling. The kettle handle is too hot too handle when pouring water onto the coffee cup. The in room safe is not working because the battery is missing. Soap, towels, ample toilet paper, and hair dryer
provided. There is aircon but no heater to warm you up on a cold chilly Baguio City night! The room was not cleaned and towels not replaced all throughout our 3 night stay in the hotel. The highlight is the inclusive asian breakfast buffet which are tasty and adequate! Selection varies per day. Food is cold though on our second breakfast day because the burners are off around 9am. the hotel needs to carefully review food safety procedures especially maintaining product temperatures when food is meant to be served hot.

The two sliced bread toaster is inadequate for the amount of people lining up for bread. Maybe replace the bread toaster with 4 sliced and toast boost to easily pick the bread after toasting. Great and courteous service by restaurant staff. I would also like to raise to management that i was charged 180 pesos for two cups of hot chocolate I ordered on our first night in the room. The hot chocolate was pretty ordinary for what I paid for. I found out from the menu on check out that one cup only cost
70 pesos! Recommended for budget conscious travelers! Great service by hotel staff but amenities, cleanliness and procedures need to be revisited and improved!
