Ok, the best place to experience fog right in your doorstep is none other than the Green Valley hotel in Baguio.

The hotel has seen better days though, but if you expect the basics then this is ok. The water is strong, the heater is good. The floor carpets may trigger some allergies for some, so bring your medicine.

Breakfast is simple, nothing fancy on the whole menu.

But for thick penetrating fog - this is the only place to be!

A hotel that keeps you refreshed because of yhe view. Although the rooms are just fine and regular, the location makes up for it. Service is just ok though some of the old staff are rude. I will comw back here again to experience it again.

If you are really looking for place to relax and a peace to stay, this is the right place. Wake up morning and walk around greenvalley subdivisions to appreciate the beauty of nature. If you are bored and looking for a shopping place and outdoor activities, look for other places. Green Valley Baguio Hotel and Resort is a 15 minute away from the city. The place is secure. You will experience here a real cold fog between 3pm above. It is nice to walk around and check beautiful houses and flowers. Green Valley Baguio Hotel and Resort have pool but you can't dive in, it's is just an added attraction inside the hotel. They have courts for basketball, volleyball and badminton, also have old bowling game. There is a store beside the hotel and a cafe just a walk away near.

We rented one of the apartments in the resort. It had 2 bedrooms on the second floor, 2 bathrooms (second and ground floor), a kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is pretty complete for cooking and serving simple meals. No oven just a simple gas range and a refrigerator. We were in a corner apartment which had a grilled patio where you can grill food. On our last evening we stayed in one of the middle apartments which we preferred as it had more natural light and a bigger living room area. The corner apartment is more private though.

The rooms were big with 2 beds each. The beds are a good size and pretty comfortable. The rugs though are old and need to be vacuumed more thoroughly especially for guests who are allergic to dust mites. You need to bring your own toiletries though.

The apartment is pretty basic and as long as you're not expecting first class facilities like Baguio Country Club or Camp John Hay, it's decent enough. It's clean and spacious even for a big group. Since it is a resort, there are sports facilities you can avail of.

It is not located in the city. It is about 15-30 min away from the city (depends on the traffic) so you need a car if you want to move around fast, but there is mass transport on the main road. It was perfect for our needs as it was near the house of our family friend and we wanted a quiet week away from the crowds.

There are small condo units in front and I can imagine that it can get a little noisy when the place is full. For a family on a budget who doesn't want to spend a fortune on a first class resort, this place is alright. Like I said, nothing great but decent.

The hotel is situated on top of the mountain along Marcos Highway, it is about 15 minutes drive from the famous Session Road and Burnham Park.
The rooms are quite old and not insulated from the corridor noise as you can hear footsteps a few meters away. It has a large swimming pool but is not very well maintained as there's no one using it (because of the very cold weather).
It is always a few degrees cooler at the resort compared to the downtown area, and as a result every early morning and late afternoon you could expect a heavy cloud of fog covering the resort.
The food is quite good and there's a billiard and several bowling lanes and also a badminton and basketball court for the sports enthusiast.

Room tip: Get the uppermost room available!
