The hotel is modern and designed in a way where there is lots of natural light and airflow is good in the corridors and in the rooms. Rooms are light and airy, with the bathroom also bright and well ventilated. The beds (our rooms had 2 single beds) were on the small side but were comfortable enough. Rooms have a balcony and ours had a view of the pine trees across the road. The hotel also had a nice lawn and garden, a play area for the kids, gym and a spa. The best part of the stay was the bonfire in the evening and a cultural show staged by their staff. We roasted marshmallows and hotdogs by the fire - a first in all our years going up to Baguio. Food was very good, and there was even strawberry taho to be had for breakfast. Location is good - near the Mines View park and St Joseph Pacdal church. Staff were very friendly and check-in and check-out was a breeze. Loved our stay.

This is my final hotel review following a terrific holiday in the Philippines. We arrived in Baguio and it seemed like every visitor to Baguio was headed up that hill to nearby attractions, including Mines View Park. We arrived at Sierra Pines in heavy traffic, tired and hungry.

The service throughout was everything and more. We felt right at home. After dropping our bags in the spacious room we went to The Outlook grill and we experienced more great service and a pleasant meal. The hotel had stunning Christmas decorations.

My family and I loved the rooms with its natural decor. To be honest, there was a function with loud music and speeches and the rooms face the downstairs courtyard/restaurant so it will get noisy but it did not bother us. This place is definitely not for you if you want absolute peace and quiet and you value modern rooms with sparkle. We loved the social atmosphere and the fresh air after Manila.

The next morning, after a pleasant breakfast an employee let us sneak into the gallery during renovations. The hotel is a storehouse for some stunning paintings. We walked to Mines View Park before our departure and the guys at the door jumped through hoops to secure a taxi for us into town.

I would definitely return and gladly spend a week here. Love this little gem with its super staff.

Best room view, quiet area, near tourist spots, great staffs, complete amenities, relaxing stay, great rooms, perfect staycation in Baguio, best for quick get away!

We will always go back to Sierra Pines!
