The location of this hotel is excellent, close to everything we wanted to visit. The room was a decent size, but carpet in Oman is unnecessary. No kettle or cups or teabags in room, but at least there was a little fridge. The bathroom was cold early in the morning and late at night, when outside temperature drops considerably, because of a constantly open air vent. The price paid was excessive for what we got, we stayed in better hotels for half the price in al-Masirah and Muscat, but we didn't have a choice because we booked late. Breakfast was good, but they didn't have any alternative to dairy milk, not ideal when you are intolerant/allergic.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Everything we were looking for - clean, light and airy, good food, friendly very helpful staff. No kettle in room but they will bring you tea, coffee, juice, beer any time of day.
Only disadvantage it is set back on the plateau so no view from hotel. Diana's view and cliffside villages with terraces an easy drive five min further along the road. Would certainly recommend it as a great base to explore Jabal Akhtar area -wish we could stay longer.

Living in Dubai, this a lovely road trip to Oman, a few kilometers from Nizwa. The road tracks are amazing- only 4 WD vehicles allowed here in these mountains that are rocky, rustic and absolutely peaceful and quiet. The weather was cool even in September.
The hotel is very clean and decent but nothing fancy.
Would love to go back there again
