I wouldn't recommend Hotel Manisa, Especially for couples, First of all staff are not friendly and biased towards Indian tourist and were neither helpful, The rooms are also substandard and small not at all in line with shown on website.I don't recommend this hotel.

This is a cheap hotel and I guess you get what you’re paying for. But still. The shower didn’t work, there was no pressure and only (really) hot water- so it was impossible to take a real shower. We had to ask three times before they fixed it. The room wasn’t dirty, but we never felt it was completely clean either. The breakfast is ok.

I recently stayed at Manisa during my vacation. It is not the most fancy or luxurious place however it is good enough for a night's sleep and your meals. The staff are friendly and go out of the way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. It's opposite the beach, has many stalls around it and a spar shopping center all walking distance. It is easy to take a bus from outside the hotel and go around Mauritius. So for me it was a thumbs up

All the basics that you could need are there and it is only one street from the beach though no sea views.

The dining room has a view of the public beach through its big bay windows (area under renovation during my trip) but none of the rooms or the bar area have this view. There is a small pool that was adequate with a big grass area and palm trees for kids to play. The rooms were clean and tidy.

WiFi is always of interest ... there is WiFi and it does reach the room (mine was close to the lobby) but when making WhatsApp calls I went and stood in the Lobby / Bar / Pool and it was fine.

Long story short - I would go back and stay again.

Room tip: Ask to be closer to the lobby to get better WiFi

Rooms are tiny and staff is not very friendly. Meal options are also limited. The only saving grace is that the hotel is located bang opposite the beach and one can spend a leisurely time at the beach during the stay here.
