If you want to be unsatisfied and feeling bad for being a customer you should go to that hotel.
The check-in took longer than 30 minutes, they told us our booking confirmation was in another place as it should be. We heard from other guests it was similar at their checkin.
The room was dirty, it smelled moldy. The furniture was about 30 years old, not clean and covered in dust. At the floor and in the bed were hair of other people. Also the bathroom was dirty and full of ants. At the first day we could not use the toilet because otherwise we would have got bitten by hundreds of ants. The second night was even more awful. I woke up because ants walked over my face. We left 4 days earlier and got to the next hotel. Don't book there, it is a scam.
At dinner and breakfast many birds arrived and ate out of the buffet. The table, chairs and floor in the restaurant was full of bird droppings.
This was the worst trip I ever had.

We stayed at the resort for 1 week in July 2017.

The hotel is situated right on the beach in flic en flac.

We arrived late at night (around midnight )and the resort arranged dinner for us in our rooms.
All the staff at the resort are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and pleasant.

Mr lol (security ) was very always helpful with advise on where to go and what to do.
Mr Govan (restaurant manager)
Was very good and always made sure his guests were always happy with the food,he also helped me prepare a very special evening for my wife by setting up a romantic beach dinner.

Overall it is a good small hotel right on the beach.
Will definitely recommend

Great location close to the city, situated on the beach, good and very tasty food , friendy and helpful staff, clean, beautiful garden arround the hotel. Some rooms are modern, some are old, but clean. Tea/Coffe making facility is available in each room, Each room have a fridge, safe and aircondition. In bathromm is hair dryer, Every day in room: a bottle of fresh watter per person, coffe bags, tea bags and creamer. Every Thursday they offer special see food (payable), on Fridays and Saturdays they provide music and dance. For sea you need water shoes. Only thing disturbing me, were the deck chairs by the pool and on the beach and sun umbrellas. They should provide more of them. Some guests "booked" deck chairs by the pool in the middle of the night and they come to the pool in the afternoon. That shouldn't be allowed.

We stayed in Gold Beach for a week half board. It’s a small scale resort with only 31 rooms. We had a garden view room 2nd floor , which is to prefer to 1st floor: the room had a balcony with beautiful view of the tropical garden. In fact we had a suite with two rooms , one with double bed, a two more beds in the main room. Altogether a spacious suite. On the downside only the bedroom ( with double bed) had an airconditioner. The main room only has a fan. With outside temperatures of 33 degrees and night temp of around 26 degrees, the main room was very hot and only by leaving the bedroom door open , some of the airco cooling also came into the main room.
Staff was friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant part , which is adjacent to the pool.
Breakfast is fine, with an egg station where the cook makes your eggs to order, as wll as pancakes. Some hot dishes are served , apart from bread, cheese , fruit , etc.
Dinner is served as buffet each day, with tasteful dishes all over, starters, main dishes and ample desert choice.
The resort is seated directy on the beach, with fine white sand. For bathing in the sea a pair of water shoes is indispensable There is a boat house offering a.o. snorkel trips ( we received a voucher for a trip from the hotel), but the trip we made was rather disappointing, with uninspired guidance, some fish around but hardly any coral worth mentioning. Reason for this may be that our boat did not really approach the reef, but satyed in a shallow part some 100 m. off the coast.
I booked the hotel through Zen-hotels site at an attractive rate.
All in all to be recommended.
