Small beach, limited area for snorkelling. Clear water can see fishes by bare eyes. No sea sport for this island

The island is beautiful, but unfortunately plastics are making an impact on snorkelling activities. Friendly place with a fantastic lunch that only 1 in our group of 15 could finish.

Sapi Island is good for swimming and water sports. We had parasailing here — while it was fun, it was a bit scary too since the staffs didn’t orient us and just told us to go. The barbecue / BBQ buffet was filling, since we had like almost 10 dishes. Groups eating the buffet lunch will be given one table each to put the things on while swimming.

We booked an island hopping tour at Jesselton jetty and it covers lunch and boat transportation. We went to Sulug island, Manukan island and Sapi island. By far, Sapi is cleaner, more relaxing and less crowd.

Highly recommended if you like beaches. There’s snorkelling, swimming or sun bathing you can do here.
