This is a hard one to describe. When we came the booking was not found due to management change. We could not check in one hour earlier so we had to wait for an hour until 15:00. The room was however spacious and nice with a kitchen and a sea view, at least at high tide. We stayed at the house on poles in the water. The thing here is that parts of the buildings are in bad condition so they only use some of the room. It makes the feeling a bit odd, like living in a crow castle. The resort seems to be under renovation The pool area is good. The beach is not possible to use according to the tide and the unclean water. The staff was mostly friendly and the room service was very good.

Nice hotel but maintenance of property poor result in hotel a little rundown. Location are good but will need transportation to move around Langkawi. Hotel facilities which are an important features when choosing hotel or resorts, are very much lack. There are no bar, lounge or live band area to relax and have some nice drinks and relax. Our trip are yearly reunion trip which we would expect some night activities.

We arrived at the hotel and were told that we had no rooms available. We were offered rooms in a 2 stars hotel which we refused, than we offered a 3 star hotel but were asked to pay the difference in price which we refused again. After 2 hours we were told that after all we had rooms available and we could stay. So we did but our room wasn't cleaned and our door was open when we got back. Luckily nothing had been stolen. In the end we were asked to pay an extra tourist charge.

We stayed 3 nights at the Lagoon Resort, nice wooden houses on the water, great pool and green neighborhood, good bufee breakfast. The place has fairy tale like views. Many great attractions are near by.

The hotel has very friendly staff, but they are not good in English so we could just ask simple questions.

The pool area seems great, and the pool is big. The private beach is not for use though. It looks nice, but were the water begins, it’s very muddy and you will sink down to your knee if you take one step.

The location was a bit outside everything else, and we had to drive to Cenang beach (about a 15 min drive). There are very many Uber’s on the island, which is very very cheap, so we used Uber to go absolutely everywhere.

The rooms are okay, they clean every day, but the towels was sometimes dirty or had a chunk of hair in them. That was gross.

The hotel looks much nicer in the photos, they should do some painting or small things to make it look better.

We didn’t like the breakfast at the hotel at all, and we walked over to Ombak hotel (just next to the lagoon) to eat dinner or have some drinks if we didn’t want to go into Cenang.

I would probably chose a hotel closer to Cenang if I’m goin back. But the price for the hotel was pretty cheap, and since it was so easy with Uber, we didn’t think it was too bad to live outside.
