This hotel has what you come to expect from a business in Japan: courtesy, professionalism and the desire to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. Most staff don't speak a lot of English, but they try hard to please you. And if you have just a basic knowledge of Japanese, you'll get along fine.
The hotel is a bit hard to find the first time if you're going by rental car like we did, but once you're there, it's a good base for exploring the southern portion of the island. A short walk will take you to the monorail station or Kokusai Dori, the main shopping area in town. The staff are more than happy to get you a taxi to wherever you want to go if you prefer that.
The rooms are decent size, but the difference between the rooms here and rooms in the US are the beds. A standard room will usually have two beds, but they only fit one comfortably. If you're with your significant other, you could probably make do, but it'll be a tight fit. For anyone coming with a family, your best bet is to get a family room. One of the two beds will be a double, and you'll also get a sofa that can sleep another, so you'll be able to fit 4 comfortably. There's still enough floor room for a 5th...or it makes a good place to keep...This hotel has what you come to expect from a business in Japan: courtesy, professionalism and the desire to help make your stay as pleasant as possible. There are several restaurants on site. We tried the buffet restaurant on the basement level for lunch. It's a bit pricey, but not too much more than what you get from a decent buffet in the US, about 20 USD per person. Dinner is a bit more. If you're wanting local cuisine and plenty of variety to try new foods, then you'll like it. There's also some Western style foods, including beef and chicken (and soft serve ice cream), so there should be enough to make everyone happy.
All in all, we were very happy with the hotel. There is a bit of a language barrier, but staff go out of their way to help you. We would definitely stay again. More
