We arrived at 9pm so we had to order directly. Service was quick. Sushis were good and not expensive.

A cavernous airy restaurant with plenty of seating choices (in booths and along the counter) served by a double (clockwise and anti-clockwise) conveyor belt system. It looks and feels like assembly line eating. If the content of the passing plates are not of your preference, you can place your order from the menu through the many convivial waiters on stand by near you. The orders get filled in little time.

There is psychological risk of taking more food you can consume as the parade of colourful tempting sushi passes by. So do exercise some discipline and self-control. We still ended up with a stack of more than twenty-five plates between the two of us. Sushi freshness is decent (off the belt) but seems better when you order it from the menu. There is good variety too including the politically incorrect whale sushi (which tasted like old tuna btw and totally underwhelming).

Daikisuisan is one of the many restaurants to choose from in between your shopping ventures at the nearby Rinku Town Premium Outlet. It appears to be frequented by locals and tourists alike. Prices are quite reasonable.

PS: do take some time to admire the beautiful 3D paper art of sea creatures just outside the entrance.

I don't eat raw dishes, and hence not a fan of sushi, but this place is interesting, as we can choose those that are cooked or grilled. My daughter also ate more than I expected. The green tea is good! 3 of us ate some 16 plates with 2 dessert - total ¥3888 (about S$52). I think its worth it given the quality.

Decent quality sushi at decent prices. If you tired of shopping and want to eat some sushi, go to this place.

Prices start from 100y to 500y per plate depending on what you take. English, Chinese and Korean menu available.

Large dinning area and quick service. Besides sushi, there is some fried stuff for non seafood folks.
